It happens a lot and it was happening more often than normal last night. It's not all that big a deal, really. If someone is unhappy about it they should say something and people will generally tone it down.

What did you think of playing in a live game? Very different than playing online, right? Not sure if that was actually the first live poker tournament you've played in.

I liked it a lot. It is a lot slower. I think I only played 4 or 5 hands all night. I'd be interested in the poker tournament if you guys end up doing that.

But man, the way I went out. I would have trippled my stack had your friend not caught the river and made the straight. QQ always fails me.

If he did I didn't write it down. I should have gone by my list, but Babypeterzz has been to pretty much every game I've hosted with jazzfanz and I totally trust him so I doubt he just decided to lie about it.

Thanks for hosting it I had a great time. There were a lot of bad beats, I feel for Siro especially. I'm glad to hear the person who knocked me out won it all, there were some good players. I was impressed by how tight most of everyone played. I'll be at the next event, sign me up for a tournament as well.

I'll start a thread soon regarding the league.

For my schedule it'll have to be a Saturday evening league. And like mentioned it'll alternate between my house and Gustavo's house. He lives in Daybreak, which isn't too far from where I live.

The cooler of mystery beers was the best thing ever though, not nearly as good as Gameface's beer but really random beers and flavors.

Curtis was almost out of the game on our table before I kindly donated all of my chips to him over 2 hands. Lost on a flush that I had jack high and he had queen.

I got a little sloppy drunk, hopefully I didn't get to bad. Drinking and winning at poker dont go together well. Only seemingly awkward moment is when Curtis took out someone and he threw his cards on the table and mixed them in with other cards during the reveal, he was upset about losing but was trying to be nice about it. [MENTION=840]fishonjazz[/MENTION] didnt try to fight me so I guess I was okay. [MENTION=51]TroutBum[/MENTION] got a little drunk to and passed out on the couch, at least thats what I saw... I did get a good seat assignment Curtis and [MENTION=40]Siro[/MENTION] were good people to be seated by, both solid guys.

I think you do an incredible job on these tourneys, Gameface, and if in the future there is anything we can do to make it easier on you, or to help, please tell us.

Personally, I think the chatter about the hand in play, by those not in the hand, could definitely be reined in. One other thing I noticed, Austin spent a few hands sitting (not playing) at the final table, leaning on the rail, and it messed the deal up a couple of times (and cost fish some desirable hole cards once, IIRC). I was standing behind him and contemplated telling him to at least back off the rail, but I felt like that wasn't my call to make, and perhaps I was the only one it bothered.

Austin though, is a good guy. I liked him.

Okay, I think it was a bit of a miscommunication. I'll take responsibility for it and make it right with Siro.
