I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but Ed Davis isn’t playing the 4.Okay. But the Jazz are used to implementing a Davis-type guy for limited minutes at the 4. If Niang is ready to start, then go ahead. But he may not be.
Bojan and Niang are the only clear options on the roster (IMO). I think you lose some tactical advantage by starting Bojingles together, because i) both will a little gassed for the 4th quarter, and ii) one of them is going to get muscled on some nights by bigger 4s. I think Royce is needed to spell those guys, and Mitchell.
