Official trade Exum and/or Bradley into cap space thread

Okay. But the Jazz are used to implementing a Davis-type guy for limited minutes at the 4. If Niang is ready to start, then go ahead. But he may not be.

Bojan and Niang are the only clear options on the roster (IMO). I think you lose some tactical advantage by starting Bojingles together, because i) both will a little gassed for the 4th quarter, and ii) one of them is going to get muscled on some nights by bigger 4s. I think Royce is needed to spell those guys, and Mitchell.
I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but Ed Davis isn’t playing the 4.

So far he has had a slow go. Injuries have slowed his growth. That doesn't mean the Jazz don't want him or other teams wouldn't want him. But I also know you are one who really dislikes him. Even when he was playing well you said you didn't like him because he moved "feminine"
Yes, because it looked uncoordinated and awkward and was looking like injury just waiting to happen any time he landed on the floor. If you look at my posts before the draft I was calling multiple injuries on him before he was even drafted just due to the way he moved. And I was right.

When Kawhi signs with the Lakers tomorrow, the dominoes will fall and the Jazz will sign a viable 4. (I bumped into Kawhi’s wife at Best Buy. She was with Carlos Boozer’s wife so I know this is legit).

It's really too bad Exum got hurt, because he had just started to turn the corner.

His December and January (only 3 games) stats were very good. 49.5/36/85 shooting splits and averaged 8/1.5/3.5 in 15.5mpg while playing very good defense. That's not a player who sucks. It's also not who we drafted him to be, but he's still a solid role player.

It's not real surprising he struggled coming into the year, and right as he was turning it around, he gets hurt. It sucks. I'm still hopeful though, because he's a valuable player. Young defensive players like him are not easy to find.

Id give my left nut to trade Exum and Bradley, two worthless players, for space to sign Caruso and/or Morris.

And the roster finally fits Exum

Not saying that's going to unlock Exum's potential and make him a great offensive player, but it's going to help hide his weaknesses.
