What's new

Players only meeting.

Poverty and unequal policing. Once you account for those two factors, black households are no more likely to be single parent than whites, and the percentage of people who commit homicides are the same for both races.

1) Your ignorance of the attempts of boor, black people to make their neighborhoods safer is apparent.
2) The anger comes from the life-long differential treatment spilling over, choosing the event almost at random. There are so many events to choose from.

White people have earned the blame and the archetype.
You've earned the blame Oh great and mighty one, not me, you deal with it. It must be nice seeing the world from such a narrow and dogmatic perspective. Maybe you should venture outside of the comfort of your parent's basement and get a taste of the real world with all its' nuance and deceit. Santa Claus isn't real!

PS Fact check please! Percentage of people who commit homicides is not even close to being the same for both races. Blacks make up just over 13% of the population and account for nearly half of all murders in this country. This is based on Bureau of Justice statistics. Regarding homicide, in 2008 offending rate for blacks was seven time higher than whites and victimization rate was six times higher. In 2013 the FBI has black criminals carrying out 38% of all murders in this country.

Whites do lead in one category however. White men commit 74% of all suicides in this country. But hey we're devils right, I guess we've earned the hatred and imposed guilt by the color of our skin. Idiot!

Well, one of the officers was fired so there was presumably at least some grounds for dismissal stemming from this. I am also pretty sure that it was the officers themselves who sought the no knock warrant from a judge.

For those on the board who think “just obeying the police” is the solution, imagine with me for a moment if a white man had shot and killed a black police officer in “stand your ground” Florida because that white man was “protecting his home” during the dead of the night from what turned out to be a no knock warrant. Do you really think you would be calling for that white man’s arrest?

1. Even if the police officers involved sought it it was allowed by law. Law should change for sure.

2. I don't think anyone should be arrested in this case. Fired maybe, but I don't see anything that rises to the level of criminality.

What instructions did they give Breonna Taylor? Tamir Rice? Philando Castile? (They told him not to reach for his gun. He didn't. So much for "comply and it will be OK," right?)

You have proven yourself, right here, to be an ideologue. Let's see if you are an idiot, too.
I think the phrase "so much for comply..." Is pretty damn dangerous. No matter what the outcome in an individual situation, it still gives the person far better odds if they comply than if they don't. Nothing aside from never sending the police to do this kind of thing or disarming the police entirely will 100% avoid every situation like this, but complying gives the people involved the best chance at not getting shot. That is indisputable.

There is absolutely a 3rd degree sexual assault charge though whose definition includes "Sexual intercourse with a person without consent of that person".

You can read the actual complaint on line. What Blake did was vile, misogynistic, brutal, and abusive toward his wife, but it was not rape.

You've earned the blame Oh great and mighty one, not me, you deal with it.

It's collective blame for collective action of a large period of time, the acknowledgment of the benefits that came from those actions.

It must be nice seeing the world from such a narrow and dogmatic perspective.

Was that supposed to be funny? Well, I'll laugh anyway. :D:D:D:D

Maybe you should venture outside of the comfort of your parent's basement and get a taste of the real world with all its' nuances and deceits.

I've been arguing in favor of nuance and context in looking at people for over 20 years on this board. Go teach your grandma to chew cheese.

There is no rape charge. Your source is lying to you. I'm not surprised you would believe it.
Because she was 16 and that's the age of consent. I'm glad that makes you feel better. He sounds like a quality human being.

If you guys really wanted things like this to happen less you would advocate not doing stupid things like fighting cops, resisting arrest and reaching into cars for a weapon as much as you go after the police.

It's pretty simple to do both.
