Possible Kanter trades?

The stock is low on Kanter and Burkes, couldn't get much in return. Would be better to wait till mid season and see if their stock goes up...Always sell high and buy low. Should have sold Hayward and bought Stepenson, Hayward is a liability and needs an awesome year to regain any value at all.

Smh everyone sell in out on Enes...

And I used to be his number 1 hater.

Dude not sellin out on Enes I like him, but more and more it's looking like he isn't going to fit both in terms of the roster and salary. Enes may have a better career elsewhere and we might be better off spending the money elsewhere. I don't think we are going to trade him right away but we will probably get more for him before the trade deadline than we would in a sign and trade.

Agree. Let's see what veterans are on the trading block. Might be able to get a very good player for Enes + our draft pick at the deadline.

Kanter has the talent to be successful I guess the most frustrating thing is his maturity. He really needs to grow up this year if he expects to get paid by the Jazz or another team for an extended period of time. I hope Snyder can get this monster child to focus for 82 games if he can then we might see some good things.

I'm having a homer-moment here:

In terms of defense, I'm extremely encouraged by what I've seen from Trey during Summer League. Perhaps Quin & Co. can make a similar impression on Enes. If he were to become an average defender, and a more willing passer (I'm not asking for great passing), then all my faith could be restored.

That is all, gents.

Good night.

If he's gonna play next to Favors he needs to lose at least 40lbs to be mobile enough to guard other team's PF. It's not on Quin & Co. to do that, it's on Enes to do that.

If Jazz drafted Aaron Gordon, Noah Vonleh, or Julius Randle I bet they woulda been more likely to trade Kanter. Perhaps someone like Dion Waiters now that Cavs have LBJ, and Wiggins.

imagine Memo Okur on roids, that could potentially be Kanter. Guy could start drilling 3s, dominating in the post, nabbing rebounds. That right there my friend sounds like a 23/10 guy. Kevin Love if you dare. He's still young, and Corbin treated Kanter like his red headed step child. Give Enes a break.

If Kanter can hit 3's at Mehmet Okur rates and have 2.4 assists while keeping his TO's in check yes.

To add...... i have been more impressed with the TEAM defense than anything.

I noticed, and commented on, the amazing new team defense that i saw at the open practice/scrimmage.
I have seen the same impressive team defense in summer league.
(rudys help defense impacts the overall team defense in a major way btw.... his range and recovery is very impressive)

At least 40 pounds? Are they currently casting for Schindler's Other List? Hyperbole obviously but c'mon Knick. You are a tornado of awful right now.

This morning, I couldn't get it out of my head that the Jazz can put together a great package for Kevin Love. If only, Love was smart enough to sign a long-term extension with the Jazz he would give himself the best chance to win in 2-3 seasons. He could go down in the history books, if he could deliver a championship where Malone couldn't. Jazz send Kanter and Burke, Burks, or Hood, plus two picks for Love. Jazz won't be able to extend both Burks and Kanter given Hayward's contract, so one if not both will be going.

I'd seriously consider trading Kanter for Bennett straight up. Then you give me some firsts as well? Done deal. See ya poor man's Al Jefferson.

I think most of you undervalue Kanter. He is super strong 6'11" big with soft touch and range. Only 22.2 years old too. I was truly shocked by his poor defense and court awareness last year and I believe this is all mental issues.. I am very unhappy with his involvement with the religious Gulen Sect. Yes, he certainly will be better than last year, he will improve. But one thing he can't obviously do is passing. He stops the flow of offense, hogs the ball, is afraid to turn the ball over. I listened to Q, he wants a team sharing the ball, passing after passing until finding the highest percentage shot. Kanter may actually not be in Q's plans for this very reason. Also the recent moves make me think the Jazz FO might have plans of moving Kanter before the deadline. So we may see Kanter get around 38 mpg, put some numbers like 18/10 so his trade value will rise a bit.
