Protestors storm capital

Nah, I'm referring to specific people with an extremist position. I don't think the protesters from over last summer represent a certain political party.
Feel free to quote them.
At the end of the day, I'm just sick of all the nonsense. I wish things were different, I really do. I wish all people did good in life and made society better. I'm tired of the right and left trying to demonize an entire party from the actions of the few that share some of their thoughts.
Agreed.

Ok, buddy. I'm so alt right in so much that I didn't find out about the riots until after my vacation. I found out and heard about Parlor the first time when Trump got banned from Twitter.
I'm pretty sure we've discussed Parlor in years past, but you may have forgotten.

Whenever you bring in a false talking point (which happens regularly), it is invariably a right-wing talking point. You never seem to read the crazy left-wing stuff. So, even if you are not alt-right, you seem to rely on them for a lot of information.

I don't doubt Parlor has been mentioned but I had know idea what meant. 100%, I had no idea the alt right had an social media app. I know they had 4chan or 8chan that had a lot of crazy stuff on it. Any conservative app, especially alt right apps do not interest me in the slightest.

This is an interesting thread between Tim Alberta and Dave wasserman

Kevin McCarthy’s lack of leadership is really hurting the House.

My neighbor is at my house right now talking politics with my wife (I am just playing fetch with my dog instead and staying out of the conversation) and he just said to her "they have already shown that antifa is the ones responsible for the attack on the capital. There is proof everywhere"

I just rolled my eyes.

Republicans House Speaker said this

"Are you still not convinced that it’s fair to call this a Christian insurrection? I would bet that most of my readers would instantly label the exact same event Islamic terrorism if Islamic symbols filled the crowd, if Islamic music played in the loudspeakers, and if members of the crowd shouted “Allahu Akbar” as they charged the Capitol."

It’s important to recognize that the BLM protests over the summer were completely justified. Minorities need to be treated as citizens and the police need to be reformed. Their protest is based on serving the underprivileged. Therefore, their protests were justified.

These Republican protests however, aren’t justified. Trump lost fair and square. There wasn’t any voter fraud. Their protest is based on serving the overprivileged by throwing out black votes to install a white supremacist as dictator.

So let’s stop “both sidesing” the right and left here. The left protests to serve the broader good while the right protests to serve the overprivileged at the expense of the broader good. White supremacy depends on people not seeing a difference between the two protests. Perpetual discrimination depends on maintaining the status quo by turning a blind eye to the plight of the underclass.
Wrong like always. Both acts of violence were unjustified.

Also, I'm a minority and I'm treated as a citizen. Just because your liberal *** wants to pretend otherwise so that we remain or become dependent on the government doesn't change that fact.

Protests aren’t synonymous with violence.

Violence (if ever) is rarely justified.

Protests against injustice and police brutality are justified while Protests to overthrow democracy by throwing out millions of votes (primarily from black voters) aren’t. The violence from last week made it even worse. But the actual justification for even holding such protests? Nonexistent, other than one political party craves power more than democracy.

We understand that the Republican mob incited by Trump and right wing media that we saw overrun our Capitol was planning on holding Congress hostage and killing off members who didn’t agree to throwing out votes (mostly black) and making Trump a dictator, right?
