Forget about politics. If candidate X who is running for leader of the free world got in front of a microphone and said out loud that there is nothing he can do for half the people in the country - am I the only one who finds this deeply disturbing?
Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton were two completely different people, they were both flawed individuals; but at the very least they both had a plan for the American people - a set of core values that they felt were broadly appealing and that, if applied, would make everybody's life better.
What Romney is saying is a dark and twisted turn that I've never heard from a presidential candidate. Even if it is true, if this is somthing he actually believes, I can't get just my mind around how this guy managed to get to this point and, more importantly, why he is running for president in the first place.
