Should Cody spend time in the G LEAGUE

Should Cody Williams get sent down to the Stars for a stint?

My hope for Cody dies a little every game. The only glimmer of hope that I have is that since he is so damn skinny he should be able to get stronger over the next few years. I don't know if that will help but I'm grasping at straws at this point.

He might even grow to 7 feet like Giannis did
Giannis did grow after he got to NBA right?:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::mad:

Cody''s future potential completely relies on his ability to become an elite defender and add enough mass to where he feels comfortable driving full speed.

He's fast, but for w/e reason, he drives at 70% speed and doesnt get low enough. Maybe 10lbs of muscle will fix that, but IDK.

Been saying this for awhile now, but 2024 Exum should be the goal. Good perimeter on ball defender w/versatility. Enough shooting+ball handling to survive on offense.

Exum??? He shot sub 30% his first 4 years in the league and had bust all over him but he has figured things out and become a serviceable player.

Cody has potential because he is LONG. He also has a smooth style when he actually decides to drive to the rim. He is just about as aggressive as a kitten and scared as a mouse in the league.

His shot % has gone way up. Defensively i think he can be a plus. Some people just throw out players based on the first month of their careers.

And then a player has 5 good games and they compare them to the next Jordan. Yall are fickle. Time is a huge element to growth.

Anyone who has played a sport and gone from one level to the next level where the game is faster, smarter, more athletic, and you struggled for the first year to transition, has a bit of empathy for the youth judgement that exists so much on jazzfanz.

3 weeks ago Collier was the worst player statistically in the history of the league. Now? There are more and more believers. Over the summer, Brice looked very blah... and now? There is potential being unlocked whether you like his ISO game or not.

In both situations TIME and MINUTES were essential.

It will never not be funny when someone applies their own sporting experience to an NBA player.

I think he doesn't like getting hit. He doesn't seek contact. He contorts or throws up shots from too far out to avoid contact, I think.

My $0.25 opinion is that the Jazz need to buy him a season pass to both the Golden Corral and Chuckarama and get him a personal training package at the local gym to increase both his strength and lean body mass so that he doesn't keep getting sand kicked in his face.
