But seriously, maybe they reach the point of semi-tanking, and building around Isaac-Gordon-Vuc and maybe Fournier, with more money in free agency to go after someone and a top 8 pick.
 
Yeah Jazz aren't bringing on somebody like Augustin that eats into cap space in 1 of the 2 summers they have remaining with Don on a rookie deal.

You’re probably right but I don’t have the same faith in free agency that I guess you and others do.

The Wiz’s brief resurgence appears over and they’re 10 games under .500 and probably damn close to some sort of semi fire sale so OP3 is probably the guy we should target.

What would get that done? Allen, Favors and a 1st? I can’t imagine that’s enough. Probably Exum, Favors and a 1st.

I have very little faith in free agency... and I still say no to DJ (or any deal like it) 100 times out of 100.

Otto Porter is a high risk move. He has regressed this season and for that money, you better are 100% he is going to play like an allstar.

The Wizards will be lucky to get a 1st for him. Actually, I think they may have to attach an asset to get rid of that contract.
