Strength of schedule

It's just unbelievably poor scheduling. It's a scale that ranges from -1.3 to 2.2. 28 of the 30 teams fall between -0.8 - +0.7. The jazz are the o ly team with a rating higher than 0.7 and we fall at 2.2!!! I dont know how they arrive at this numbers but we are off the chart on the difficulty scale.

I am confident that we will have a killer second half of the season but this has been painful.

I did say at the beginning of the season that if we had won 50% of our games by midseason we would be in a good place but it's also the way that we have lost games. Sometimes we just collapse hard. Schedule? I sure hope so.

50 wins will get us what? The 5 or 6 seed? Meh.

I always thought we were closer to 50 than 60 wins, if we somehow get to to or close to 60 wins I'll consider a major achievement

After the Orlando game we have 5 tough games (Houston, GS, Portland, OKC, Portland). After that, our schedule gets SO MUCH EASIER.

I'd be ok with 2-3 in that brutal 5-game stretch. 3-2 would be great. 4-1 amazing.

Look at all those Nuggets games, though. They won't cause as many problems for teams if they're this injured. Yikes.

Agreed. 2-3 is realistic (I feel we'll beat Houston and split with Portland) and 3-2 would be commendable. 4-1 and there's gonna be a Jazzfanz party.

Hey all, I am not sure how to take this but I googled "NBA strength of schedule" and this site popped up:

Based on this we have had not only the hardest starting schedule but we aren't even close to the second hardest schedule in the league. Crazy!!!

They haven't played Phoenix yet, thats why there's such a discrepancy, 4 matchups with them to go.

It's not just Phoenix, we haven't played the Bulls, Hawks, Cavs, Knicks or Wizards yet either.
