Yeah, in Utah. In Cali, in the 6 years I have lived here, this is our coldest and wettest winter yet, historic for the area in fact. Most winters we get nippy weather enough to make me break out my jacket and make the beaches a bit too cold to get in the water. This is the first time we have seen snow in the valley here, and definitely the most water we have seen. Really the apt comparison is you get hurricanes, we get raging wildfires. Nothing will burn in Florida, way too wet and humid. But everything burns here. Hopefully this huge storm system helps some of that but mostly it will likely make it worse as it promotes a huge burst of undergrowth that can then dry out and be kindling for the next idiot who needs to burn down 3 cities and kill 4 people to show everyone they are having a little girl. Great legacy for that kid, amirite?
