Why would you not take professor of psychology seriously? I like his thinking about this issue. And it must hurt his opponents that despite trying hard to silence him he keeps teaching in university and has millions of followers on Youtube. Man speaks the truth, nobody can force you to use the pronouns you are not comfortable in using.
I don't take her seriously because she uses obfuscation when questions, refuses to explain her points in detail, and relies on traditional cultural stereotypes and horrible biology instead of serious ideas. Sure, Peterson makes money and has followers. Anytime one decides to publicly support the oppressive group over the oppressed with reassurances that their oppression is justified, one can make plenty of money doing just that.
Frankly, I think that is a large part of her appeal for you.
"I will never use words I hate, like the trendy and artificially constructed words "zhe" and "zher." These words are at the vanguard of a post-modern, radical leftist ideology that I detest, and which is, in my professional opinion, frighteningly similar to the Marxist doctrines that killed at least 100 million people in the 20th century.
Here's a great example of her dissemination. Why would a person hate a non-word? Who hates "quorgo" or 'supercalifragilisticexpealidocious"? Meanwhile, the notion of "a post-modern, radical leftist ideology" is a contradiction in terms. Radical leftist ideologies are expression of modernism, post-modernism is an explicit criticism of these ideologies. Peterson has just strung together buzzwords for supporters to latch on to, but she uses them without a care for what they actually mean.
I am therefore not going to mouth Marxist words.
How brave she is to decry Marxism in the US and Canada! What a bold position![/SARCASM]
