The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

I'm watching the New Orleans Pelicans v OKC game and there is no sign of Zion who is out injured and apparently in terrible shape, here is a recent photo of him

Now reportedly a lot of this is to force his way out of New Orleans to a bigger better market/city. AD did the same thing. I would have thought if you were a young, rich, single, high profile athlete New Orleans would be a pretty good city to live in?

Grayson Allen sends the Bucks to overtime against the Celtics with a 3 with 13 seconds left.

Nuggets are in trouble without Murray and Porter Jr. They need someone other than Jokic that can create.

Cleveland needs serious help
without Sexton. Their offense devolved into Rubio step backs.

I feel bad for
KAT. I’ve never watched him and thought he looked like he was enjoying himself.

Is this where you’re headed with that?

CLE could be a Clarkson/Bogdanovic destination. I don’t think we need any of their players, but both Markannen and Sexton (depending on how Cavs feel about contract situation) could be sent to a third team.

Did we give up on Allen too soon? 16 pts on 45 percent shooting. Didn’t we give he along with Crowder and a Larry H Miller car dealership worth of picks for Conley? Perhaps those picks could’ve turned into the young PG or stretch 4 that we desperately need?

Hindsight is awesome, who wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the Conley deal?

I didnt like that trade from day one. Thought conley was too small, too old, too expensive and too injury prone. Also thought we should just move DM over to pg

I mean, I guess. I know I was mostly for the trade but had doubts due to Conley's age. But I remember a lot of other smarter posters having greater reservations than me.

There were many that didn’t like it. I wished the cost was lower but ultimately supported it. The Conley move is not something I would say I regret at all though. And the price fell in line with some other deals.

I get more bent about the dumb **** we did filling in around the edges and managing minor assets. Having the pick we gave up in the Favs deal would be nice. Drafting a good young player instead of Udoka would have been nice.
