He would be a monumental upgrade from Bradley defensively. Tony will get eaten alive in the playoffs.

I don't think this will happen because too many variables have to fall in place. Chinese basketball will have to be canceled. Egos would have to be dealt with, but management's ego and Udoh's ego. Yeah, that' too much to ask for....we might be looking elsewhere. But...if it did happen I would be super thrilled and I would think their chances would improve dramatically for post season success.

Wow, this could mean the Jazz are negotiating with Udoh to bring him back. It can't be a coincidence. It's dated today.

Udoh lives in Texas. It would be so sweet of the Jazz signed him but who are the Jazz going to cut? Juwan, Oni, Brantley, JWF, NWG, Rayjon? I think in two months the 2 way players have to be signed or let go. The Jazz would have to cut three players. Who is it going to be?

Well, that statement is based on what? I know his numbers were not based mainly against starters, but he actually had better defensive numbers than Rudy in his short time on the court, definitely better block numbers, so he's a definite rim protector. Also, the biggest problem with the reserves on defense is Tony's inability to protect the rim and the inability to get fair treatment from the refs. So, we have weak defenders on the perimeter and the other team knows they can get to the rim and there will be no rim protection. Finally, when we were hot, there was one major X-factor: Mike was not playing.

Another FO mistake was that we let Udoh go because of his lack of offense, and who do we pick up to replace him, Davis, who is even more offensively challenged and doesn't offer rim protection.
What if NWG develops and is able to give us a solid stretch of 12 mpg in 10 games a couple years from now when there’s an injury? It’d be unfortunate to end up in that situation and realize the solution was waived 2 years ago from us being short-sighted.

I never understood the NWG signing. He's a good G-Leaguer but definitely not NBA worthy. He makes Georges look like an All-Star.
