The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

One of the silliest arguments presented in the White House letter to Congress is that the president is being denied his right to defend himself. Lol. The House portion of an impeachment is the investigation/prosecutorial component. Defense against any articles of impeachment charges will take place in the Senate. We all know this by now, that's how ridiculous their letter is in places.

I’m wondering if Trump is trying to rush along impeachment in the House and prevent any additional incriminating information to come out about Ukraine so that the Senate can more easily try and find him not guilty? If the House were to continue with the inquiry and uncover damning material, it puts more pressure on the Senate to convict. By attempting to shut down the spigot of information, they almost force the House to impeach through obstruction charges rather than continue to uncover material that would force the Senate’s hand.

Thinking the same.

Here is a strategy: Impeach quickly on obstruction of justice only. Exhibit A is the letter. Exhibit Z is the letter

Reserve the right to impeach on everything else if/ when the information begins to flow in.

Lol still absolutely nothing. Well we now know that the whistleblower is a Democrat with professional ties to the Democratic party.

I mean, who would've guessed outside of a mob of gullible morons?

Yep, absolutely nothing. Go ahead and do something else now. (lol)

I wouldn't care if the whistleblower was banging Hillary on the side. Does anyone believe he just made up his concerns off the top of his head? He did the right thing lodging his complaint. Of far more importance is knowing what our chief executive is up to, and why. The political affiliation and connections of the whistleblower may have made lodging a complaint easier on his part, but it's the concerns expressed by officials in the White House, and relayed to that whistleblower that take center stage here.

A White House official listening to President Donald Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukraine’s president described the call as “crazy” and “frightening” and was “visibly shaken,” according to notes taken by the intelligence official who filed a formal whistleblower complaint after speaking with the official, and others.

ABC News has learned that the two-page memo, written by the whistleblower a day after Trump’s call, suggests that at least one aide to the president feared that Trump’s own words in the call were damning. According to a rough transcript of the call released by the White House, Trump asked Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy to launch an investigation into a political opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and his son.

The notes were based on a brief conversation between the whistleblower and the White House official and described “highlights” from the president’s call. The document was later provided to the intelligence community’s inspector general, who reviewed the whistleblower’s complaint. The IG has determined the complaint “appeared credible” and of “urgent concern.”

Sad that the "who" is more important than the "what" to you.
That shows your true colors so so much. The colors of partisanship.

This is still absolutely nothing but some unknown person saying something. You really think this would hold any weight in a court of law?

Sad that you will believe anything without even questioning it. Especially after Russia and Kavanaugh. 3 years of kicking and screaming impeachment yet Trump is still there. Lol at accusing me of partisanship. You fear to even look outside of your 3ft box.
