If you really look at the roster the Jazz front office put together, it's clear that this team isn't designed to win much. Clarkson and Sexton absorb a lot of minutes, but are below-average defenders with limited efficiency on offense. None of our guards shoot well enough to consistently space the floor. Guys either don't shoot enough 3s or don't make enough 3s. Our forwards have size and athleticism, but still lack the ability to self-create. THT has been given a prominent role because he's really the only one who can drive and kick or drive and dish to set up our bigs. Jazz rebound well and guard the interior well when they're big, but this is a 30 - 35-win team. Jazz will win when they shoot the lights out, or at least when both Lauri and Clarkson have efficient enough offensive games. Otherwise, they'll have a hard time manufacturing offense consistently.
The main problem the Jazz are having with these B2Bs isn't fatigue so much as a lack of time to prepare. The Jazz need time to really gameplan against the other team, particularly on the defensive end.
