Lol, you only post negative things that ukraine does in the war. When Ukraine attacks. Never post anything negative about when russia makes an attack. You blame America for the war rather than the one who started it. Both of these things are evidence that you are on the side of Russia. I have never seen a post from you saying that you think it was wrong of Russia to invade or that you think they should pull out of ukraine and end the war. Putin thanks you for your support.

We all know your stance at this point. To you the Russia/Ukraine war was caused by 2 things and 2 things only. The main cause was Joe Biden. The other cause was Ukraine. Russia is just the innocent victimized bystander in all this. You dont need to tell us anymore. We get it.

Russia has invaded and occupied several countries since 1920, including:
  • Soviet invasion of Azerbaijan and Armenia in 1920
    Red Army invasion of Georgia in 1921
    Soviet invasion of Poland in 1939
    Soviet occupation of the Baltic States in 1940
    Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940
    Soviet invasion of Manchuria in 1945
    Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008
    Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022

    Russia has also occupied parts of neighboring states since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, including:
Transnistria in Moldova
Abkhazia and South Ossetia in Georgia
Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine

I could add they annexed Konigsberg ( they renamed it Kaliningrad) area after WW2 and not planning to leave it anytime soon.

You know that is just a list of states that wrongfully attacked a peaceful Russian presence inside their own borders. Obviously if they had just acquiesced there would have never been a problem. It is all their fault. Russia is completely innocent.

Come on, just give them the benefit of the doubt. They invaded all those places for good reasons with nothing but kindness and love in the hearts. They definitely aren't war mongers. Biden is the war monger who has invaded and attacked way more countries than that!
 
I believe credit should be given where credit is due. While it appears that Trump is going to make good on his promise to bring the war to a quick end, the table was set by the Biden Administration. Russia is in a world of hurt right now due to a policy announcement (direct threat) from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), a part of the US Treasury Department.

Russia was keeping their economy afloat by skirting sanctions through China and India. On June 12, 2024, the OFAC made an announcement they’d seek to level “secondary sanctions” on any financial entity in any country found to be trading with Russia, and specifically in Rubles. At the time of the announcement, the Russian Ruble was trading at 84 to the dollar. In the six months since then, the Russia Ruble has lost 22% of its value. It has also lost about that much against the Chinese Yuan. Banks in China and India don’t want Rubles. It means the same amount of war now costs Russia a lot more to wage.

One piece of information I'd like to add as it doesn't seem to be widely reported:

Russia kind of asked the Biden administration permission to fire the ballistic missile, and notified everyone 30 minutes before firing the missile. US Officials have publicly confirmed of being notified by Russia. Also, it wasn't actually an ICBM. It was an intermediate range ballistic missile.

This is sabre rattling, intended mostly for the audience in Russia, and extensively telegraphed beforehand so as not to be escalatory. They for sure wanted the US to know they weren't launching an ICBM which would cause an immediate use-it-or-lose-it retaliatory nuclear response. It was for show and cameras were in place to film the show.

Agreed. And from what I understand, most Russians are pretty apathetic now. They’ve been beaten down too many times. I sometimes wonder if we’re headed in the same direction. Constant beat downs of Fox News and social media disinformation just makes it hard for truth and fact to puncture through. So instead, we get distracted by endless entertainment and culture war. It’s why we elected the teevee president again. Entertainment! And now he’s filling his cabinet with teevee cabinet members, the wresting chick for education, several Fox News hosts, and that Dr Oz. So much teevee!
