Poor move on Ricks part. If you want him gone you shoot him from behind, guarantee his death. What an idiot.

I expected something more. Like a dramatic split between the group. I can see T-Dog, Andrea, Daryl and that annoying girls mom siding with Shane and Lori (Carl), Hershel (and family), Dale and Glen siding with Rick.

It may come to that as Shane still gets away as the scene does not show him actually dying.

There is no way Shane is dying this early in the season.

I doubt Shane will die that soon but for an apoclyptic end of the world show the charracter list has been remarkably stable lately. I want a few to die such as TDog as he gets no time and maybe two of Herschels daughters, Dale and that annoying woman (dead kids mom). Then give us some new people.

I think Rick lets Shane be the walker bait so he can come in and save the day. This should put Shane in his place for a little while longer. And Shane aint dying anytime soon.

yeah thats what I miss in the tv series. almost all "main" characters died in the comics.

How does the plumbing still work on the farm??
What causes someone to turn to a zombie? Is it by zombie blood? When Rick and Shane cut their hands on purpose to distracted the zombies, wouldn't that make it a lot easier to get infected?

It also seems pretty risky to drive 18 miles away from camp with no other transportation or ammo. What happens if the car brakes down?
