What's new

this team might just suck.

It was still an inaccurate analogy since in your example you used a two game sample size (I'm going to assume that you're taking the same amount of shots in each game to get to your 50% since you claim to be using a masters degree for that) when the Jazz season has been a 30 game sample size and much more varied than your example.

Also, for what it's worth, the GSW game isn't even close to the best offensive performance for the Jazz this season. It ranks 9th in TS% and 7th in ORTG. Their opening night performance against the Kings is hands down the best offensive performance from the team all season, the team shot a ridiculous 74.9 TS% and had an ORTG of 135.6. Their 2nd best game offensively was against the Celtics on the 9th of November at home.
I said GS for instance, not it was best. You don’t need god same amount of shots in each game unless you wish to get granular. We shoot crap more often than we shout well, especially Ricky hence his overall %. The point I made is we have one amazing game to every more than one bad one, ergo our under .500 record.

1....Jazz will again be approaching 10 games below .500 and at that point it is time to come to reality. The run that happened last year was historical. It isn’t happening again people. Jazz needed to win a game like today if they are good. They are not. Time to come to terms with that. It amazes me how some of you act like this is freaking out or something. There’s a very good chance in the next 10 games Jazz will find themselves close to 10 games below .500. Coming back from that would take another huge run. I’ve looked at their schedule from January-April. Good luck with making that run again.
Talent wise the Jazz simply don't belong in the playoffs. We currently only have 8 playable NBA players on the roster. The other 7 either belong with the G-league or are worse than G-league, which means that Quin can't trust to put any of them on the floor for more than 10 mins, or risk getting blew out by the end of bench players of teams that won't make it to the playoffs. And sadly it already has happened multiple times this season.

I will admit that it's shocking to see my Browns having nearly the same winning percentage as the Jazz at this point in time. Maybe I should be more alarmed about the Jazz

To use your example from before, if I shoot 100% on 1/1 shooting in one game then shoot 0% on 0/4 shooting in the second game, you're not going to say I'm shooting 50% for the season you'll say I'm shooting 20% for the season on 1/5 shooting lol.

rubio just can't be trusted longterm. The amount of equity and leash he's had in his career is ridiculous. people will point to his occasional good to great shooting games, but it is all fool's gold. he's left wide open 75+% of the time, so he's bound to have a great shooting game every now and then. despite how wide open he usually is, this is a guy shooting 39% FG and 31% from three which is basically on par for his career. Terrible finishing at the rim. Some dumb TOs. Despite end of last year, anyone thinking he'll just flip a switch and be better than this consistently is foolish. Imagine how bad his FG and 3 pt % would be if people actually guarded him on the perimeter? he'd be shooting 30-33% FG and 25% or less from three. Or maybe even similar % b/c with his slow *** set shot he can't get even get a shot off when closely guarded. Can't win anything meaningful with him as your starting PG.

Lindsey has great responsibilities about this roster .. he spent 5 first pick in the playmaker but the play is not there, Rubio is not the answer..
He spent a first pick, going up, for Bradley, who has never seen the change and he has 3 C in front..
He realized late, see Trade Korver, that there were no shooters (except Ingles) in the team, he renewed Exum who does not like Snyder..
He chose a 23 years at the Draft in a more than covered role , in OS is passive strop, 14-16 is the son of his choices, all have improved in the West, but we do not ..

A week from now if the Jazz are 14-20 can we have a talk everyone who says people are “freaking out”? Or will it still be too early to talk?

Too early, you’re using the toughest stretch of the season to validate your point.

34 games into the season is the barometer not just 6 games. Last year was last year. And yes, our record will improve but this team is so flawed. Our offense needs help even if we manage to beat the scrub teams during the 2nd half of the season.

2-11, 3-14, 8-21, 1-8

How the hell does an NBA player miss 11 of 14 shots? How can an NBA player go 2-11? Even the new guy has a 1-8 performance. This is 100% not on Quin. WTF is wrong with these guys heads?

We got worse as a matter of fact. We lost Jerebko's 15 min of quality plays and absolutely no one who can fill in for his minutes.
