Legally, police are permitted to put innocent people in a situation where they have to either allow strangers to break into their house or suffer gunfire from people who will suffer no consequences. It's very clear cut.

Dude, I specifically said that "Legally, police are permitted to ...". My only surprise at the grand jury response was that any cop was indicted at all. What the police did was legal, and two innocent people are dead. That's the problem.
