SA runs long practices.Trey Lyles is wanting a trade.

I’m extremely uninterested in that.Jazz would probably have to give Toronto a protected pick and maybe send out a young player, but the Jazz could conceivably convert Bogey into Powell and Markkanen, while giving themselves some financial flexibility in the offseason. Powell becomes a starter at the 3 and Markkanen becomes a backup at the 4.

Fournier and Gordon are on team friendly deals, but I won't call them much of a "bargain".That's fine but that type of asset only depreciates and could become worthless with one injury. If you aren't going anywhere with the asset then offload it for something that works. Fournier and AG are both team friendly deals too.
Say they could nab 4 firsts by moving all those guys and give themselves some cap room to do the OKC next year... they could really jump start things. Give Bamba a **** ton of minutes to figure things out... tank the eff outta this B for the next couple years. Vuc gonna be like 33 before they are ready to do anything.
Boston would likely do two firsts for Vuc... then you sell off Gordon to another suitor for a pick or two. Magic basically were said to be shutting people down that are asking about him. If I were them and I could get one good young player, one decent first, and expiring salary or just okayish salary... I'd jump on board and pivot so hard.Fournier and Gordon are on team friendly deals, but I won't call them much of a "bargain".
And as I said, teams won't give Magic 4 first rounders for Vuce because they already traded them all. So a deal won't happen unless magic wanna get robbed.
As for teams do have enough first round picks on the table, it simply doesn't make any sense. Vuce, despite being an all star, is not Rudy type player that guarantee you a playoff berth by his presence alone. So teams that are rebuilding would rather hold onto their picks and Vuce himself wouldn't want to leave one losing team for another.
I have never understood what the Magic were building towards. As long as they continue to have no vision and nothing to build around, they will continue to flail, whether they rebuild or not.Boston would likely do two firsts for Vuc... then you sell off Gordon to another suitor for a pick or two. So let's say Boston says two firsts and thompson for Vuc... sign me up... then if Denver wants Gordon for 2 firsts and Harris (not great salary but whatevs)... done deal. And there you have 4 firsts... plus your first this year could improve by ensuring you stay bottom 4. Next year you have Isaac and Fultz coming back plus whoever you draft... you suck for another year or two but have some hope of being more than just the 8 seed.
The tear down should be the easiest part of the rebuild... yet dumb teams screw it up.
While I think his defense is passable but not great, Markannen I think could improve as a defender under Quin while being able to shoot the three.I gotta say, Markkanen continues to really intrigue me. Especially since I am a big believer in the power of environment, and Chicago has been a dumpster fire ever since they got rid of Thibs.
If all he is is a 7-foot tall Bogey that's a decade younger, uhh, yeah. I'll take it. Jazz need a third star (or whatever) that isn't on the precipice of falling off a cliff because of age.
Not gonna bother putting a package together since the Jazz have ******* for matchable assets.
