Yes, he pushes the ball in transition, but in the half-court offense he has a tendency to dribble too much which stagnates the offense and sometimes causes him to force a shot or a pass, leading often to a transition bucket on the other end. This is something I have noticed about him since early in the season and which has made me a critic rather than a fan of his. I would wager that if Ricky had to be a self-critic, he would say this is a weakness of his.Of course the offense works better when the ball doesn't stagnate. That is Quin's offense afterall...move the ball for an open shot. And the ball doesn't stagnate with Rubio, that' crazy. He's always has pushed the ball and as he becomes ingratiated to his new team, he's making the right plays more and more. I like Neto, but Rubio is a special talent, not to mention his defense. The team is much more deadly with him at the point than a guy like Neto over the long haul.
