I never said because he can't get out of the playoffs. Read one more time, I said he has limited offensive game, was exposed in playoffs and until he improves it I can't consider him top 3 center. Not when he had worst +/- of the Jazz in last 4 out of 5 games vs Rockets.MVP is claiming that consecutive all NBA center Rudy Gobert is something like the 7th best center in the NBA, because he can't get out of the second round of the playoffs or something..
No it was not. He had the worst +/- and we did much better with Favors on the floor. So, like, we won game 3 because of our defense and our strategy, and we were in games 3-5 for the same reason, holding Harden to historically terrible games. That was because of Rudy.
He did not outplay Capela in first matchup, look at all the data you want Capela did better . Second series Capela was sick and mostly non factor and yet Rudy was terrible in that series as well and we did better with Favors at center than him.Let me help you.
Rudys teammates let him down. Rudy actually outplayed capela each of the last two years in the playoffs
I expect that from him. He’s trolling hard.MVP is claiming that consecutive all NBA center Rudy Gobert is something like the 7th best center in the NBA, because he can't get out of the second round of the playoffs or something. The list of players he gives as "better" have rarely even MADE the playoffs.
It's just a precursor of the trash we are going to see once the Jazz bandwagon gets going this year.
Not worried, I said many times last year I didn’t think he was in a slump, just that it’s hard when your the only scorer on the team. This will help him be a leader and get experience playing with other scorers. He’ll be fine. I’ve always said for him and others too that players that are more than ready athletically hit a sophomore wall instead of a rookie wall which is mental more than physical. Now that he got it out of his system and has a lot more help, it can only get better.
Yep, both years gobert was better statistically than capela in the playoffs. He did not outplay Capela in first matchup, look at all the data you want Capela did better . Second series Capela was sick and mostly non factor and yet Rudy was terrible in that series as well and we did better with Favors at center than him.
It's strange how you judge a players value based off how he played against 1 particular team.It is just strange how you guys can't see Rudy's limitations which were on full display in Rockets series. I love Rudy, he is one of my favorite players, yet I expect him to improve his post up game and midrange game and FT shooting before I would be completely happy with him. Now you all attacking me like I am committing some kind of act of blasphemy by actually pointing to his flaws.
Do you all honestly think Rudy is a perfect center and has nothing to improve in his game?
