Bucks get Gortat and Frazier

Wiz are $6 million over the luxury. After this deal, they are only about $1.5 above the line. They can do another minor deal to get under. Shedding Gortat for next year let's them avoid the luxury again.

Bucks want to win now have needed a center. Teletovic makes about the same as Gortat this year and next. Teletovic is dealing with health issues that might end his season so Gortat helps this ambitious Bucks team more than a guy who isn't playing. Frazier is an expiring the Bucks could keep or waive.

Teletovic can play when healthy (him from 3 in 10 games this year - 2.1-4.5 .467%). There is a chance his blood clots end his career, but we would deal with that as it comes. Regardless, we get a first rounder for Joe Johnson's expiring.

Look at rumors from different NBA insiders. There is significant interest around the league in Hood. Favors to some extent as well.

I've also heard rumors that teams are only Lukewarm on jazz players on the market. Do u believe every rumor u hear?

So if things just magically start clicking and the Jazz finish the year well and healthy... is Favors really necessarily gone? How much would he cost us?

Cuz... what are the options on keeping the asset rolling otherwise? Cleveland, Milwaukee?

I think people are fairly lukewarm as well, at least lukewarm on offering anything we’d want. Locke probably setting the stage for our main move being a JJ buyout.

Locke also said this AM that his sources said the owner shot down the Niko deal (my guess LT concerns) and that it was dead.

There are a lot of sources and the proof is always in the pudding.
 
It is kind of funny, sad, whatever that we spent so much of our time talking about Mirotic. Kinds of put everything into perspective - people don't know jack and clickbait sells.

What Luxury Tax concerns?

I swear, if we just buyout Joe Johnson and just plan to re-sign Favors, Hood and Exum this summer, what a blanking debacle.
