I wouldn't begin to contemplate extending THT until he demonstrates that he can make shots, fit into the team framework, and not pound the air out of the ball.

20 million a year isnt what you think it is anymore. Got to adjust your perspective with the new money coming in.

Regardless, how about he actually play a whole year as a starter before we overpay him. Not one team would give him 20 million a year for 4 years. Maybe if he consistently plays well and can improve his shooting.

I figure either Sexton or THT is headed out in a Brogdon deal. If it’s Sexton, I say we lowball THT for fifteen or less. Otherwise, we wait and see how the starting lineup shakes out and what his production looks like and pay him accordingly.

15, 4.7, 4.7 on 46/40 from the field and 3 in 3 pre-season games in 21 MPG

Per 36 that's about 26-8-8

That's at 22 years old playing PG after playing it for the first time in his career for about 25 games.
