The argument for Victor Wembanyama coming to Utah is that the Jazz did a good job developing Rudy Gobert, helping him take care of his body and stay relatively free of injuries. So Wemby and his agent should have some level of comfort with Utah. I don't think the league would be entirely opposed to Wemby landing in Utah for his first and second contract. Lebron landed in Cleveland, and Zion landed in New Orleans.

The teams in the lottery that the Jazz will be competing with are San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Indiana, Charlotte, Detroit and Houston. None of them are terribly exciting destinations, and aside from San Antonio they've all already scored in recent lotteries.

Agbaji, Vanderbilt, and Kessler. I'm not saying they'll be most impactful but I look forward to seeing some defense and toughness now that our former defensive anchor is on the Wolves.

on paper and after few preseason games look like we have a chance to be in three worst teams. DET and IND are slightly better, have better coaches. HOU and OKC are already in rebuilt for few years should be better than us. We have a bunch of new guys, rookies, vets, without a leader, new coach. We should be in lottery 1-3 pick.
Interesting thing is A.SILVER don't want us to tank - hope that he won't trick the ping pong balls.

Detroit is more than slightly better. That’s a team on the rise with lots of talent to build on.
