Which new Jazz players are you most excited to watch this year?

Depending on who makes the roster, by my count, we will have 11 FA's next year, but a couple of those are player options in THT and Gay.

No, I think we would be ecstatic to see this ragtag group of rebels overshadow the evil Darth Mitchell and get further than we ever did with the last iteration. Add to that some extra FRPs over the next few years and we would be building a real contender, if the current core is capable of such a feat. Huzzah, I say, HUZZAH!!

The real melt-down comes when this team bucks expectations and ends up 8th after a play-in win and ending the season in a 0-4 series sweep, then getting stuck with no lottery pick at all, and needing to use all that great draft capital we just picked up to try to move into the top 10 to grab some guy at #8 we hope pans out better than when we did the same thing to get Burke.

Corbin/Spurs year. 10 years and we’ve come full circle.

Last season the Jazz were crying for someone his size, but Quin was the smartest guy in the universe and to the bench for you next to Gay. It really hit me when the Jazz got murdered in Game 5, they put NAW in and he did just fine. Gay had his trunks nailed to the bench. It struck me that Quin was petty and probably burned out at that point and didn't care about winning.

It takes half a season to learn Quin's playbook. Nickeil was pretty lost most the time. Danuel House was kind of lost too, but his defense was needed so badly he played a lot anyway. Nickeil had his most success last year when he just sat in the corner and waited to shoot an open 3. Hopefully, he looks like a different player this year.

I saw Nickeil as a guy who could make enough of his 3s, but also drive the ball, which was something the Jazz need against Dallas' switching defense. Royce couldn't put the ball down and make a play, so Royce became mostly useless against switching defenses.

NAW is way way way to layed back to share the court much with Sexton but the pairing could be tried I guess to see if he has another gear

I'm probably most excited to see Markkanen, the rich man's Dirk.
However, Vanderbilt is going to be a lot of fun. If he was on the team from the last couple of years, he may have been that spark that put us over the top.

Im hyped about Kessler. Hopefully he picks up some Jack Sigma, Rik Smits style to his game to go along with the shot blocking.

I could see this team turning heads if they develop. Seems like we are built for small ball, fast pace but we can also go long and throw a big man out there to disrupt the interior.

This teams a major wild card. One of the more exciting squads we've had, as we have so much new talent with endless potential.

Good thing Corbins not coaching this team.
