I think everyone can agree that we need to significantly cut down on the money being spent on these elections. Give every campaign $1 million and limit their ads to 1 per day during time tv and 1 per day on YouTube. Currently, you can’t go more than 10 seconds without being bombarded by another sleazy ad from this campaign for senate. Every timeout during the last jazz game seemed to feature an anti-Lee/McMullin ad. They never talk about what they’re for, just what they’re against.

End this campaign season already. I don’t need to see ads everyday.

I’m in Florida and “cut the cord” with YouTube TV(if that really is cutting). It is not that bad this year for political ads. It could be because of the matchups here compared to the one in Utah. I’m in Hillsborough County which leans Democrat but I honestly haven’t seen that many Crist or Demmings ads. I only watch sports, Archer and Sunny so maybe I’m not their target market.

I actually like your idea of having a cap on political spending. It would cut out a ton of lazy wasted ad spend and make the campaigns more strategic in how to reach voters and get them out to vote. This would also help with cronyism within the campaign.

Wife and I mailed in our ballots today

I dropped ours off at a drop box yesterday.

I don't really like McMullin's chances but it would be fantastic if a Jan. 6th co-conspirators lost their job in out government.
Honestly, a Jan 6th co-conspirator shouldn't even be allowed to have the job.

I get a few unsolicited texts every days sending me scarry messages about how evil McMullin is and how electing him would essentially end the world as we know it.

I sort my mail at the mailbox when I pick it up every couple of weeks or so and don't actually look at any of the ads of any kind including political mailers but I do see that Lee and friends are sending out negative crap at like a 10 to 1 ratio to McMullin.

I don't know what I'm doing right, obviously living right on and off the field, but I haven't seen a political TV commercial in like 12 years.

Its crazy how often I see posts on social media about how Biden is destroying america. Grow a pair people. Gas prices are high. Inflation is high. These things have both happened before. Biden sucks but he isn't destroying the country.
FWIW as much as I hated trump I never thought that he was destroying the country.

The biggest threat to democracy in the next few days is apathy and indifference.

Regardless of who you want to vote for go out and do it! Don't look at a poll and decide it doesn't matter what you do. Trump proved in 2016 that polls can be wrong. Kansas proved this fact again when it was predicted by polls that the anti-abortion state constitutional amendment would pass by 4 points, yet it was defeated by 18 points. This election will be determined by the people who normally don't participate. I'll say it one more time. This election is going to be determined by the people who normally don't participate, but who are compelled to do so, for whatever reason, in this election.

If you feel like your voice in not heard and hasn't mattered in the past, this is the election to make your voice heard.

Vote!

Its good to know you'll be voting for Lee, as the CIA fits the definition of Fascism.

You realize there’s a long list of Republican Presidents and/or Director of the CIA who were running **** when the drug running and the like of which you speak took place?

McMullin is running during a time when Lee really isn’t popular, but also running during a time when partisanship is extreme, and the current political climate favors Republicans. Big uphill battle for him to cobble together the votes needed to win, but it was worth a try. Mailed in my ballot last week for him as well. Would love to see him pull it off, but odds are certainly against him. Democratic turnout (and turnout overall) in the state has been abysmal so far, also not a great sign. Hopefully that changes and people show up Election Day. Turnout is going to matter on that race….a lot, and right now it’s really low and favoring Lee.

Ballots sent for the three voters in my family, my sons first. Three votes for McMullin.
