The Dems and a faction within the intelligence community (affectionately called the 'deep state') have been baselessly attacking Trump since before he even took office. They've been trying to have him removed any way they can because he's kowtowing their agenda. He has every reason to be upset with them and, ultimately, to expose them, something that he appears to be doing.

Deep state... eye roll

Attacking American law enforcement and intelligence for doing their jobs, that’s conservative?

I’m done arguing with idiots today

Trump is pushing a conservative agenda? What you’re doing comedy now?

He’s pushing big government intervention in health care and women’s rights. That’s conservative?

He’s pushing government handouts/bailouts to farmers. That’s conservative?

He’s pushing a centralized command economy with tariffs on foreign goods and protectionist immigration policy. That’s conservative?

He’s blowing through laws, rules, and democratic norms. Abusing executive privilege and Demanding others to refuse subpoenas. That’s conservative?

His foreign policy is an incoherent mess. The only thing consistent with it is his adoration for the world’s worst dictators. That’s conservative?

Everyday he puts himself first. Lies endlessly and embarrasses our country. He clearly has engaged in cover-ups of crimes, campaign violations, and affairs. He refuses to protect our country against our greatest threats. That’s conservative?

Catchall, you clearly have no idea what our country’s fault lines are and although I’m not a conservative, but I’m pretty certain that the conservatives on this board would agree with me that very little of trump’s agenda can be regarded as traditionally “conservative.”

He's not pushing big government intervention in healthcare. He's revisiting whether an unborn child acquires the right to live during the pregnancy. That is conservative. He's trying to dismantle government-controlled healthcare.
He's compensating farmers in the face of foreign tariffs in order to protect them. That may or may not be conservative, but it isn't bowing to China in bi-lateral trade negotiations. If anything, it's a nationalist policy.
He has executive privilege and hasn't been shown the subpoenas have a legitimate purpose after the 2-year Mueller investigation was shown to be a ruse. This is the advice the White House counsel is giving him. Beyond this, he's given the attorney general and the Justice Department free rein to do their jobs.
He refuses to protect the country against its greatest threats? Like who? North Korea? China? Isis?
Trump is more conservative that Hillary, to be sure, who was the only other option on the ballot. If you want to apply a label, you might call him a nationalist, but he's clearly to the right of Obama and Hillary.

Calling people who don't hate and insult Trump on a daily basis (like a few of you do) "idiots" is childish. You're welcome to vent your vitriol as much as you like. I can just put you on ignore. I'm just pointing out why your group has being losing politically, and why it's likely to continue to do so. I can assure you that I'm not an idiot, and that many people who elected and support Trump aren't idiots either.

Because compared to Bush Jr., Trump is a fine President, and yet people can't complain enough about Trump. The amount of protests and scathing criticism that Democrats and the media have thrown at Trump is reaching epic proportions, while most of it isn't based on anything real, other than his self-infatuated demeanor and the fact that he pressed to have Mueller fired. Few, if any, Democrats were calling for Bush's impeachment--though I suppose getting rid of Bush would have put Cheney in the presidency (something that was already in effect anyway).

The real cultural divide in the country is related to social liberalism vs. conservatism, and that's what's got liberals up in arms 24/7. Trump is unabashedly pushing a conservative agenda. He's got Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnel working in lockstep with him. Trump makes an easy scapegoat.

Trump demeanor is a huge, probably the main, reason for his detractors criticisms. And rightfully so.

Having a scumbag, moronic, idiotic, petty, classless, dishonest, unqualified, inexperienced, childish, douchebag as the president is enough to tell me that he SHOULD BE the most criticized and scrutinized president in history.

He made his bed by acting the way he does. Now he has to lie in it.
He could try to change. But he won't. **** him.

Also, you say the Democrats and the media are the ones doing the protesting and critizing. That's false. I know conservatives and Republicans who also recognize Trump for the worthless piece of **** that he is and hate that he is president.
Colton certainty does.

Baselessly lol. There was reason to attack the ************* before he ever even got into politics. And that was when he was just a dumbass reality TV scumbag.
The fact the he is the president is even more of a reason to attack the scumbag.

That's not what happened. First of all, I'm not Republican. Second, I didn't vote in the last election. The people who elected Trump did so to repudiate a number of things that had happened under the Obama, including nationalized healthcare, loose immigration policies, the Supreme Court that was becoming ever more liberal, and Hillary herself, who was seen as a disingenuous and cynical candidate with no clear message other than "I'm with her." It didn't help that the Clinton Foundation had a reputation for being terribly corrupt. It was a perfect storm that got Trump elected, and it wouldn't have happened if he didn't have support from independents, blacks, a number of women, and more hispanics than you might think.
Lol
First of all i never said anything about you being Republican or you voting for Trump.

2nd of all this is from your post: You guys need to understand that this is the same pettiness and obvious media bias that galvanized Republicans and Independents to elect Trump in the first place

So you said that Republicans elected Trump because of pettiness and media bias from "you guys" which I take to me democrats or the left.

So according to you Trump wasn't elected because anyone thought he would be a good president but rather because the left were being petty and bias.

So like I said, I find that to be an absurd reason to vote for someone.

He's revisiting whether an unborn child acquires the right to live during the pregnancy.

Just so you are aware, Trump DOESN'T believe the unborn child has a right to live in certain circumstances. He was upset about Alabama for what they recently did.

Where was all this outrage when the Bush administration invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, gave everyone's personal communications to the NSA, and handed over more than $1 trillion in taxpayer funds to insolvent banks?

Some of us were outraged.

Is Trump picked on? Hell yes he is. And thank God he is. That shows that some people in this country still think that a person's character matters.
I would be very disappointed and saddened if Trump wasn't being called out for his behavior.

Apparently there are some Americans who don't care about a person's character anymore.
That's sad

Will it make any difference to you if none of those things ever come to fruition?

We already know for certain that the dossier was presented to the FISA court for the purposes of obtaining a search warrant. And we also know for certain that Steele's work was politically motivated because he admitted that to Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec ten days before the dossier was presented to the FISA court. What we don't yet know was whether Kavalec's notes were submitted to the court. What is already crystal clear is that the dossier should have been inadmissible, yet instead it was presented as a verified document (which it clearly was not).
