KCP is now there for the taking. Should we try to land him?

Have thought about that... I don't know... he's much more of a 2 than a 3... I'd like him at fair money (say Oladipo money). I think he is seeking close to max. We'd have to do a sign and trade and I'm not sure what they'd want.

This saves the C's about $3 Million next year. So, obviously they have a ****load of deals left to do.

They can waive Mickey or Jackson and they are there. Really surprised Bradley was the one sent packing.

Really happy for Hayward... playing with Morris seems like a joy... and Crowder is likely Hayward fan #1.

Marcus Morris? With Crowder, Jaylyn and Tatum.

Hayward is going to cry.
Crowder and Morris in 1 corner
The kids in another
IT and Horford trying to mingle in all circles
While Stevens and Hayward shoot together at the far end of the gym.

I'm not sure I'm willing to give him the max(or close to it or Oladipo money). I kind of feel like it's best to keep our capspace for next year when even fewer teams will be able to pursue big FAs and we will be one of the few with the space to get one. Jabari anybody?

Bobby Marks (ESPN) is reporting on twitter that this trade gives Boston 30.8 million in cap space and they only need 29.7 million to sign Hayward.

Boston just traded one of their 2 best defender abd the other one is supposedly unhappy. How's that defense gonna look?

They will put Smart in. He's very good defender too... His shooting is not great though.

What a god awful trade for Boston. They gain a cancer in Morris and give up one of their best defenders.

I obviously had my hands on bad info, or had confused myself somewhere along the way.

I would still offer a second round pick to do the sign and trade and gain the exception for next offseason or the trade deadline. Jazz have a bunch to work with. Nobody loses anything with that move, and it allows them to be really flexible with how they handle potential trades this year.

Yes, I'm surprised they traded Avery Bradley. Marcus Morris is an inferior player. He's on a good contract for 2 years though.

I just don't think their team will work that well unless they do more trades. Still zero rebounding. Too many SF, not enough bigs. Lost AB, KO, Amir Johnson...

A "not so big 3" with zero real superstar including an overpaid non rebounding big, a borderline allstar who's paid more than $30 million a year and a midget with hip injuries problems who's past his prime and on an expiring contract.

I just don't feel it, what's the point ? You're not beating Golden State with that bunch anyway. Why not going young instead and trading IT ? Build on Jaylen Brown and Tatum... I just don't see where they're a contender. They just happen to play in the Eastern Minor League so getting 60 wins isn't that hard there. But they're getting swept by the Warriors anyway...

So, how far has Boston moved up peoples list of hated teams?

For me they are 3rd. Lakers and Rockets maintain 1 and 2.

It won't happen. There is literally no reason for them to. It's over, we lost.
There is no reason not to as well. Almost every leaving player does this. My bet is it happens. We seems some future 2nd for their minor trouble.

Well, now that this Haywood fiasco is finally finished, I'm bowing out again. I'll see yall again the next time we make the playoffs.
