She had two sisters and only one of them was really living by the LDS rules. Oldest sister was a drug user as well, was caught drunk driving and stealing numerous times, is a single mom without even knowing who the father of the son is. There were kids of Chilean immigrant family who moved to Provo with help of LDS and then later moved to Canada. As my coworker told me her father was very abusive, used to beat them badly and force to eat until they puke and then would make them eat their puke so they would not waste food as they were quite poor. Eventually he came out as gay and left their mother. So with such upbringing I am not very surprised she revolted and was doing all those things. She was a cutter and one time almost killed herself by cutting a bit too deep. Girl had issues, but that does not change the fact that she was a first Mormon I met and it certainly did not represent all Mormons at all. I am just saying that people do not always live by the rules - man made or god made.... Look at freaking multiple catholic priests charged for child molesting.
I don't care what they do with their bodies, but they do within their caste system. Mormons with handcart/polygamy heritage will judge, shun, and passively persecute other members that change their bodies as such. They also check to see that members that have received sacred garments (underwear) are wearing them 24/7, with gossip as the consequence for not doing so.
Almost every religion existentialistically sees the non-that religion part of the world as false-doers. Some go through reform by the need of society to humanitarianism and democracy.I don't care what they do with their bodies, but they do within their caste system. I find it much more insulting that they preach that Jesus and Lucifer presented two plans in the pre-earth council, one that insisted on autonomy for everyone and the other that sought to destroy autonomy by controlling everyone, then the institution proceeded to implement the second plan on such things as same-sex marriage, alcohol consumption, medical marijuana, Etc. It's one thing to control your own group. Forcing "righteousness" on non-LDS people is patently hypocritical when one reads their sacred texts.
This reminds me of one time I was reading about Ted Bundy. I forget where but it may have even been Wikipedia. It was saying something to the effect of “though he joined the LDS Church, it is not know how tightly he followed their standards.” I had a good laugh.lol, yes that makes no sense. Why would the line be tea/coffee?
I think Utah has one of the highest rates of boob jobs in the nation. You're right. I get it. And I agree that women should be free to do what they want with their bodies. My original surprise was regarding this specific couple's daughter and her flaunting of her boob job in a bikini on FB. Not that there's anything wrong with flaunting your boob job on FB either. It's just the context.
*lashTell me more about these eye extensions. I'd like to add zoom capability to mine.

As I once said first Mormon I met in person was a girl at my work who drunk, did drugs, would brag about having threesome while being engaged ( as she said she was in open relationship) and yet would not drink tea or coffee because of her religion. Weird stuff.
This is total bull crap.
I like how you conveniently left out why the mormons boycotted wholesalers.Only if you ignore history.
Another good example of automatic behavior (rather than autonomous) in LDS history is the beginnings of ZCMI, wherein a logo was placed upon the front of all participating mercantile stores. This logo included the words “Holiness to the Lord”, and an all-seeing eye. This temple related branding coincided with Brigham Young insisting in General Conference that all LDS people in the valley were to boycott all non-LDS-owned stores.
People that purchased items like stoves were summarily taken to task by their local authorities. It can all be read in here:
