Jazz discussing #3 for #6, #18

I don't put a lot of stock in this rumor. And, I agree with those of you who have said this isn't enough value returning to the Jazz.
But, sure, if KOC is SURE that Knight is his guy and that he'll fall to #6, then this trade (with a chip or two added) makes obvious sense. But, I don't think KOC is just gonna trade down to see what happens; he'll get his guy.

I'm still confused about why the world hasn't been fed a line about our "love" for Kanter. That would make getting value out of the #3 in a trading down scenario much easier.

Yes having 3 draft picks in this draft would make Utah really young but they would be able to fix one of there biggest needs ... a bench.

Kanter/ Jimmer < Jimmer/Moitiejunas/Brooks
Knight/ Singleton < Walker/Singleton/Brooks

Knight, Burks, Biyombo

Jimmer, Singleton, Donatas

Knight, Singleton, Biyombo

Kemba, Thompson, Biyombo

Knight, Thompson, Donatas

Jimmer, Burks, Biyombo

All these would be great picks, my favorite is the top one

Harris/Knight
Burks/CJ
Hayward/Evans
Favors/Millsap
Jefferson/Biyombo

Knight, Burks, Hayward, Favors, and Biyombo is a friggin sweet young core to build around

That confuses me as well. It diminishes our leverage if everybody thinks we want Knight—unless, perhaps, professing love for Kanter would be too obvious of a misdirection, or perhaps other teams' love for Kanter is misdirection.

If the Jazz allow themselves to be connected to Knight, perhaps others will see that as a misdirection and think they really like Kanter, and that may do more to convince others that the Jazz want Kanter than actually saying we want Kanter would. It's all very complicated.

I'm thinking this must be the case. Nice 'un, somebody.

Jazz need to draft Kanter at 3, and then start a bidding war between Washington, Toronto, and Cleveland.
