We better win this game against the suns tonight

Portland has played 31 home games (23-8) and 23 road games (10-13). That puts them on pace for 48-34, which is right where 538 has them.

Anyways, looking forward to a 4-3 series win over the Rockets, then a 4-2 series win over GS and a Jazz/Nuggets conference finals (probably a Jazz sweep). The question we should be focused on now is how do we contain the Greek Freak?

I think that the warriors, nuggets, and thunder are out of reach but i think that we will pass houston and portland by the end of the season.

Im calling it now. Jazz will get the 4 seed.

Four seed would suck unless GS falls out of first.

Any other team is beatable.

3 or 6 please.
I agree but everyone will have to go through golden state and no one is going to beat them (if healthy of course). But ya, getting to the 3rd round is better than getting to the 2nd round.
At the same time getting to the 2nd round is better than getting to the 1st round. ( so getting a favorable first round matchup and then facing the warriors in round 2 might be better than a bad matchup in round 1 with the ability to dodge the warriors in round 2 that you never even get to)
Just win as many games as possible.

Would be awesome if something crazy happened like the lakers got the 8 seed and lebron went nuclear and took the warriors out.

One other thing, and I know this is a HUGE reach, is that maybe you have a better chance of beating the warriors earlier in the playoffs. Maybe they aren't going as hard in round 2 as they are in the conference finals since the stage isn't quite as big and they cant quite smell the finals yet.
Im mostly just kidding though. Thats a huge reach on my part. Especially if you look at all the *** kickings they have handed out in the early rounds of the playoffs over the last few years.

The Suns picking Ayton over Luka will haunt them for the next decade. Not that Ayton will be a bust, but he looks like the kind of player who would've led you to a championship had you drafted him in 1988. Luka is the prototype of a modern star, the kind you need to win in the league today. Proven winner, can do a little bit of everything, has the shot, can drive into the lane and get foul shots. Plus, the Kokoškov connection.

I mean, the kid just outplayed Lillard to bring his team back from 20 down in the 4th and win. He still can't legally drink for more than year.

Just days after trading 4 starters for Porzingis. Talk about winning single-handedly.

Eh, OKC still has about two thirds of their schedule stuffed with playoff teams. They have done well lately, but the schedule won't let up at all for them.

Our entire March is filled withers that have pretty much already mailed it in and are dreaming of Zion.

They are not out of reach.

I agree but I just think that the thunder are good so they will win a lot of tough games.

The Jazz were 20-20 and have gone 12-4 (.750) over their last 16 games. I think they can go 18-8 over their last 26 games to get to 50 wins.

The Jazz need to win 3 or 4 of their next 6 games and at least 6 of their next 10. That'll be a real test.
