We still have elections. People can still vote. Trump hasn't done anything to stop that....well, unless you think that him wanting to stop non-Americans from voting.

Hilary said that Trump would not accept the results of the 2016 election. Well, Hillary is the one who lost and she's still btching about it. Seems she can't accept anything, but she isn't doing anything to stop the next election from happening.

His incompetence is a threat to our democracy. He has made several serious missteps already. The longer he is in office the more blunders he'll make.

Quite a few come on here, including me. But there isn't much real debate here. Just a lot of telling each other off. If you want some real debate, then you need to accept and respect that some people don't think the same way you do.
But I won't be holding my breath.

That didn't answer the question. Is his incompetence going to stop elections from happening? Will the people no longer get to choose?

Our democracy refers to much more than just the fact that we hold elections. So I answered the question just fine. Have a nice night.

Your argument is that nothing Trump does can harm our democracy because we still have elections. What is it you want to discuss? Weather or not we'll continue to have elections?

You didn't provide a meaningful or interesting premise for discussion. Do that and I'll have a conversation with you.

I asked how Trump is destroying our democracy. I'm interested to see what people have to say.
I'm not sure what else there is. Democracy means that the people have a vote and a say in government.

Healthy democracies include more than just elections. Abiding by the law while in office is important, acting in the publics interest is as well. Demonization and degradation of political opponents is something harmful to democracy that Trump engages in. Disregard for the truth and constant lying is another example of Trump behavior that is detrimental to democracy.
