Btw I could totally see the West finishing with Doncic-Harden-Lebron-Davis-Gobert, going massively big.

I just don’t think Kawhi gives a **** about the game and wants to manage his load.

Huh. In 2009, Shaq and Kobe were co-MVPs. However, this was during the one season Shaq played for Phoenix. So, probably a lifetime achievement award? Anyway, Shaq was a reserve.

Before that, it was Glen Rice in 1997, I think. I kind of forgot what I was looking for for a bit there...

Oh, wait. Westbrook was a reserve in 2015. So, it looks like maybe about once every 5 years.

So they stopped doing the picking teams thing? Because the one thing I wanted to see in the game is Spida going to the hard to the hoop against Gobert.

Maybe because they are human beings that we like and care about? They aren’t property and I’m sure they wouldn’t at all appreciate your point. I would be more concerned with views like yours getting back to them than I would be concerned about their motivation, which they seem to have no shortage of.

My hell, you're dumber than a bucket of dog poops. If Mitchell was in the East, he obviously wouldn't be playing for the Utah Jazz. They play in the West.

I kind of feel this way but also if no one from our team ever gets recognized we won’t be able to get and retain big time players. I love it when guys play with that chip, but even if we think of just the team and not the individual players, I think it’s still better in the long run for these guys to get seen

I really want to see both make it. It gives them the recognition they deserve, and it gives the Jazz the recognition the team deserves as well.

Plus the game itself is more fun to watch with a Jazz player or two on it.
 
I don’t see Giannis or LeBron selecting Rudy. I just don’t. This ****’s a popularity contest.

The coaches select the reserves. Giannis and LeBron just choose their teams from the pool of players already selected to be all stars. So one of them will have to choose Rudy because he's going to be an all star.
