Coronavirus

@Red rambling on when we don't even have a clue how this going to effect us. First he puts out absolutely idiotic numbers and now he's blaming the president for something that we don't even know what's going to happen. Crazy dude is living off of fairy tales.

It's almost(there's no almost) like youre salivating at the thought of people getting sick and dying. You will never admit it but you're enjoying this. You're actually helping spread the unnecessary panic.
He was actually blaming the president for things the president has already done. Not futuristic things. And again, those things that you are claiming red is blaming the president for were actually from an article that he posted a link to. Not things red came up with himself.

Todays numbers

The way I'm seeing it is that 93 new cases is about average. Not to mention we have a much higher population than most. Places like Switzerland and the Netherlands are getting hit hard while Iran and Spain are still getting dominated.

Denmark has about 1 in 244,000 getting it daily
US has about 1 in 3,500,000 getting it daily

But Trump ehh @Red?
Did you know that if you don't administer tests that it effects the numbers? I might have the coronavirus right now but would have no way of knowing.

Not surprising you won't answer my question as to why Americans will get sick at 2000% more than the rest of the world that you grossly fear mongered. Think about this... To hit your disgusting fear mongering deadly politically motivated idiotic numbers did you know it would take 1,600,000(BaSic MaThs) cases every day for 3 months to hit your disgusting fear mongering tweet?

Examine the models to understand this, I do not owe you anything. Just use Google to understand the modeling behind the various estimates. I found several studies estimating degree of spread in the United States last night. I don't understand why you can't. Some of the articles I already posted included the assumptions behind certain models. Other models the CDC will not discuss. I will not help you.

Do you know what the basic assumption was behind the highest infection totals suggested for the United States? I do, and, if you did, you would actually be relieved when you realized what that basic assumption was. But you are just yanking my chain. You know that. I know that. So, of course I will not help you, although here, in a moment of weakness, lol, I just gave you a clue. And it's spelled right out, the assumption underlying the model projecting the highest American totals, in at least one of the articles I posted earlier. There, another clue. Far more than you deserve.

Earlier in this thread, you directed the same question to everyone, and you ended it by saying "serious question". Do you realize by adding "serious question", you were actually acknowledging that you know many members here regard you as a troll? That's a classic tell on your part. You added "serious question" because you know many do not take you seriously. I wonder why? Well, no, I don't, and apparently, neither do you.

It's almost(there's no almost) like youre salivating at the thought of people getting sick and dying. You will never admit it but you're enjoying this. You're actually helping spread the unnecessary panic.

Seems to me I stand an excellent chance of dying if I contract the coronavirus, since I have four high risk factors. My wife would also stand a good chance of dying, since she has two high risk factors. This comment by you is among the dumbest, and most unbelievable, as in who would possibly believe this, that you have made so far. I do not want to die. I do not want my wife to die. I do not want untold numbers of Americans to die. Spreading unnecessary panic? The more people take this VERY seriously, the more people will act responsibly and maintain safe social distancing, for example.

That you would think anti-Trumpers are salivating at the prospect of so many Americans dying actually shows what a sick, sick, sick dude you really are. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

It's such a broad topic and we don't have much other stuff to talk about anyway that it would make sense to split this thread to discuss different aspects separately. Eg: "how covid effects your everyday life now", "trump vs covid" etc.

He already referred you to ask the doctor that he quoted. Multiple times. Those weren't red's numbers. He got them from someone else so you will have to ask that person your questions that you demand answers to.

Thanks, fish. And I think you and I both know he knows that already. This is just his particular troll method, basically. This is what he does with every person on this board, if he knows the person in question does not like the present occupant of the Oval Office. I'm surprised at how many reply to him at all, and some have correctly pointed out that we should not feed this particular troll. But, I'm guilty as well in that regard.

That's not a bad idea. I noticed yesterday that some of the "Trump and coronavirus" aspects were posted in the 2020 election thread, and with good reason, since while Trump said in his address from the Oval Office a couple of nights ago that we need to not politicize coronavirus, it was he who then proceeded to politicize the coronavirus. He's thinking of November whenever he does that. Anyway, not sure your idea will be taken up. For many reasons, it's pretty darn impossible to extricate issues with Trump from the coronavirus issues. But, Trump brought that upon himself. The Atlantic article I posted enumerated his many lies and misinformation that he, and he alone, presented to the American people. Dang it all, the buck stops here, Mr. Trump.

Stay safe!

Can't answer the question. You can post absolutely ridiculous tweets saying half the population is going to get sick but you can't even back up why Americans are 2000% more prone to the virus. Your response is to call me a troll and try to push the conversation away to me proving what a terrible fear mongerer you are.

It's a completely valid question. Nothing malicious about asking why 50% of America will get sick yet not even half of a percent is sick in any other country. Yet your answer? Calling me a troll...

That around here just verifies you guys have no answers. Your go-to move to change the conversation. Keep up the spread of panic and disarray brother. I hope you don't get sick and u hope you the best. I just wish you could answer my question.

I mean could somebody at least give me a link as to why 50% of America will get sick yet no others country is even at .5%?

Let's even say 10% with no other country at .5%.

I can't find it. Im genuinely curious but instead of an answer I'm getting called a troll. Again... I've looked and can't find any info behind such fear mongering. So I sincerely am asking.

Sorry bro, around here your a troll if you counter anybody's argument. It's their way of losing a debate yet feeling like they won.
