Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

I'm truly sorry about your mom bro. That really sucks.
I don't think covid has claimed the lives of millions though. That's neither here nor there though. Really really sucks about your mom.

It hasn't but when all is said and done?

That's what I mean.

I don't have relationship with my mom and if she goes that will probably make thin6 harder for me (hard to explain.) Knowing my mom though, she's got this.

If we want opportunity, and access to the resources of this world, little folks need cops to enforce the laws that give them the rights.

Again, you aren't talking about opportunity for everyone, or access to resources for everyone. You are talking about the select class of lions and wolves that will use up most of those opportunities and resources at the expense of everyone else. If you are interested in preserving the power of all of these corporations that you consider to be "people", with no robust solution for their monstrous corruption, then in truth the "arrogance of power" ball isn't in my court. It is in yours, and what I am getting from you thus far is that you are perfectly fine with routine murders of the disenfranchised by the police. So long as your "people" get to keep all of their wealth.

And speaking of social castes, cops have shown that they have no intention of protecting brown people, or the poor. They are perfectly fine with their esteemed (and unimpeachable) status as untouchables, with the most powerful unions in the country, and a monopoly on state-sanctioned violence.

That wealth is going to be taken if it isn't given. I am not a violent person, and I have no inclination towards revolt because I have a great marriage and am raising a 2-year-old. But what I am trying to get through to you is that the American status quo is untenable in the information age. There is going to be a war over these resources described, and over the violent events that are bearing out of the policing of these protests.

The young people of this country feel like they have no future to speak of. They will act accordingly.

I'm sure most people who gather in these mass gatherings during a pandemic that's claiming the lives of millions think this way. You're fighting for the lives while you're willfully taking the lives of others, you dumb ****.

I just heard my mom is on life support with pneumonia...
Archie,

I just want you to know that I care about you. I might be a jazzfanz tough guy jackass more than I care to admit, and even direct that towards people I know and like in real life. But I just want you to know that I do think a lot of you and I think you're an amazing person.

My advice to you is that after having a very strained relationship with my mother the several years leading up to her getting cancer and eventually dying from it, is to ask your mother anything you ever wanted to know, tell her everything you've ever wanted to say. Truth is, even if everything turns out okay, doing that will only make things more clear for you. I don't know if it'll make things better or worse, but it will make it easier for you to make the decisions you need to make. I didn't do it and I really wish I had.

You needn't believe every lie you hear, nor just the ones you want to believe. Check it out. Look at the leadership. Look at the most critical decisions, the most basic beliefs.

You mean, the information on their website? I've seen it. You think it is lies. What's your source? Offer it here for evaluation.

Communists, Socialists.... almost any effective agenda based change agency or movement, are all fundamentally owned by people whose first jpriority is to disguise their real long term goals and their most important steerage hands.

See, ranting like this, with no facts behind it, is why it's hard to take you seriously.

If it were at root a real "grass roots" sort of thing, it would not have the staying power to keep moving through issues one after another, like BLM and Antifa do.

The protests come and go, anger builds and fades. What staying power?

Mike,

Good luck. Going through something like that is never easy. Just don’t wait to do or say anything you feel the need to do or say.

I was reading the wiki page for Jefferson Davis after reading about the statue being taken down and comments about him. But this quote made me laugh:
"Many historians attribute some of the Confederacy's weaknesses to the poor leadership of Davis.. lack of popular appeal, feuds with powerful state governors and generals, favoritism toward old friends, inability to get along with people who disagreed with him, neglect of civil matters in favor of military ones, and resistance to public opinion all worked against him."

Hmm, that sounds like someone else.
