The *OFFICIAL* Russia Is About To Invade Ukraine Thread

As I grow older I feel like one thing America can be is something that offers other people hope. Whether you’re black, foreign born, LGBT, America should be more of an idea, the standing up for human rights, rather than a blood and soil nation limited to short term wealth generation. I really felt we lost our sense for a few years there and it feels like many recognize that if America doesn’t stand up for democratic principles and human rights, who will? I wished more challenged themselves to look beyond just their selfish immediate day to day needs.

I thought some of these articles were interesting

I’m not a military man but this is cool.

I’m also not an expert at Estonia’s politics, but it seems like the surge we saw of RW populists might be abating. Authoritarianism isn’t exactly lighting it up recently. Good news for those of us who believe in small-d democratic values and human rights n

That is the America I grew up believing in and being proud of. The country that fights for the little guy and supports the rights of all people regardless of race, gender, creed, national origin, whatever. This was supposed to be the place where all people had an opportunity. That's what I grew up thinking the U.S. stood for and what I thought I was signing up to defend and protect when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Obviously I've grown up since then and realized the folly of my idealistic youth. It has only been in recent years however that I learned how little we've grown. Only in the last several years that I discovered how many of my fellow "Americans" hate every millimeter of our growth towards a more inclusive, more equitable, more fair society. I had no idea so many had what I consider to be such un-American aspirations. It is the ultimate irony to me that these same people now claim that THEY are the true patriots. They are the true lovers of American ideals. What kind of ****ing bizzarro world do they live in?

Man, this reminds me of an essay I wrote in a first year college English class when I was 19. I got a bad grade on it. In it I wrote that I thought that my generation was going to be the one where racism ended and acceptance flourished and opportunity would abound. I have it somewhere, maybe I can transcribe it. It's silly AF in retrospect and probably why I got such a bad grade on something I was really happy with as I turned it in.

Y'all care so much but stay silent for what over a week? Good stuff! Good news guys I know you'll love this. Only a matter of time until Americans are dying. Be proud. Bloodshed!!!!! So close to the war you all crave.

Two Russian Su-27 aircraft dumped fuel on and flew in front of an unmanned U.S. MQ-9 drone above the Black Sea on Tuesday, with one striking the American asset and causing it to crash, according to the U.S. European Command.

I noticed Christians are being slaughtered in Congo. According to your pathological war lovingness should "We beeE sAwViNg dA witTle gUy"? Y'all don't don't seem to give a **** about that. Just what the media tells you.

If you want to do Vlad a solid, vote Republican in 2024

DeSantis is Trump evolved. I mean that's swamp slime evolved into a ****ing troglodyte, but it's the next level all the same. And it's really a big jump in sophistication and intent. DeSantis isn't just a 70+ year old remembering what it was like when he got his first TV and when he had to drink out of the same drinking fountain for the first time, he's coming into this eyes open. Trump was just an old *** idiot spouting off on **** that gets boomers and hateful yokels energized. DeSantis is going to be the thinking man's Trump. Some of the disaffected Republican voters might come back for that. Casuals and independents might take a swing on that instead of putting the corpse of Joe Biden back into office for another 4 years.

I thought this was interesting. You can see how Tucker’s/Kremlin’s talking pts are spread on this very website by some of our dumbest posters and most extreme posters.

You see this site's "dumbest posters and most extreme posters" as those who post Tucker's talking points. Hmmmmm. I wonder what it is about Tucker that this site's "dumbest posters and most extreme posters" thought was interesting enough to warrant their continuing to post clips of his content here at this website.

We're getting closer guys!!! My only question is since Democrats and even some establishment Republicans like that bag of s* Lindsey Graham that openly want war and blood shed, are these people going to go fight in this war they so desperately crave and want us in? Lol we all know the answer to that one.

Pentagon releases video of Russian jet dumping fuel on US drone

What is the point here?

Russia downed an unmanned aircraft over international airspace, and this means that somehow the US needs to stop supporting Ukraine?

What's the principle at work in this situation?

I would educate the significance to you as I know more than you but you have dunning Kruger so it's pointless.

There is one reason and one reason only that Russia poses any kind of threat to the U.S. and NATO. Nukes.

That's it.

There will never be a conventional ground war between the U.S. and Russia because the U.S. doesn't want one and Russia knows it couldn't even compete in one.

Russia tried picking on their little brother and is losing because the U.S. gave Ukraine HIMARS and Javelin Missiles. That along with the bravery and dedication of massively outnumbers Ukrainian soldiers is all it took to stop big bad Russia.

Russia is playing the **** Around And Find Out game, and they're finding out.

I kind of wonder if Russia even actually has nukes any more, or if they all got stolen and sold by the generals.

Lol yet @sirkickyass is saying Russia could take the enitre area lol.

Moldova, Estonia,. Georgia.

Belarus is kind of an edge case because of the common union, but it would probably be absorbed if Russia's push through Ukraine was successful.

Honestly, this conversation is a little bit surreal. I don't think you're even pretending to know anything about any of the countries or players involved; but you're still extremely confident that you understand the dynamics and costs involved of simply allowing Russia to conquer Ukraine.
