Forrealdoe, I was at Desert Edge Brewery last week and the beer on tap I ordered was warm'ish, told my friend it was prolly on purpose and the waitress informed me it was cuz whatever style of beer I ordered was supposed to be like that.

I followed. Prolly gonna check out Desert Eagle now.

I wasn't a believer until I taste tested a porter I made at 32F 38F 42F and 48F and without question the 48F was the best tasting. I tried to explain it last time you were here but pretty sure I sounded like a dumb ***. Don't have the scientific explanation down but different flavor compounds are more pronounced at cooler temps, others at warmer temps. Certain beers are better at slightly warmer temps, especially ones with roasted grains.
