Jefferson is a great pick up and the Jazz may be better next year than last. Jefferson pretty much replaces Boozer's skill set. Both are the same size ... Jefferson measured like a quarter inch taller in shoes and Boozer has about 10 pounds on him. Jazz could still use a center.

As for the problem at center, that got solved last summer when KOC extended Okur.
I think the Hayward pick has already been written off as another Jazz draft disaster by most fans. Unlike some past selections, like Snyder and Humphries, where fans held out some hope until the guys actually started playing, I think fans are already resigned to this situation.
There doesn't appear to be a player available at #9 that would be worth his contract. Trade down. Grab a giant or two later, like the Florida State center. Eventually one of the big guys will work out if you stockpile enough of them. Or use the pick to trade for Al Jefferson. Minnesota...
Don't worry too much about moving Maynor. OKC is rumored to be dumping him off to Indiana, along with two other first round draft picks, for the 10th pick in the draft. Pick number 10, like 9, is not likely to yield much of a player.

Will Darren Collison ever be considered at the same level as Deron Williams? Impossible to say. However, it is factual to say that his rookie year was more promising than the rookie year of DWill. It is also factual to say that Collison is the much quicker player.
