2020 Presidential election

You know what would be crazy? If Biden cheated on his wife with a porn star and asked her to spank him with a Time magazine. And then used his personal lawyer to pay her off to keep her quiet during the campaign. Imagine if Biden did that. Crazy
And then talked about how hot and voluptuous his daughter was and how he would date her

Super Tuesday is potentially more impactful than at any point in my lifetime. It’s entirely possible that the February primaries each go to different candidates, putting way more at stake on March 3.

Trump will always Trump any kind of poor behavior. He is the undisputed champ of childish, stupid, creepy, narcissistic, petty, moronic behavior.
He has the all the best bad characteristics. And the best words

What I can never explain is why he has such a following of people who’ll ignore his absurd behavior and nitpick the normal behavior of others.

It is really really weird. I see people trash talking the Democratic candidates and my response is always the same..... But the Republicans have Trump.

then bragged about how being a celebrity allowed him to grab women in their privates without punishment.

Just imagine if Biden did that. Crazy.
This must be that dreaded “whataboutism” I keep hearing about.

Well ya, I mean you use whataboutism to point out when someone else also does something wrong.
Now sometimes you can say what about Obama and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you can say what about Bush and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you can say what about Clinton or Reagan and sometimes you can't.
Eventually you run out of wrong things that those presidents did. They all did lots wrong. Every president will.

But you can always say what about Trump. You will never run out. He adds to his tally on a near daily basis. And that's just him. Then you have his administration around him, and his lawyer.

When you look at the big picture and the things that Biden does and Bush does and Clinton does and Obama does it all just pales in comparison and gets lost in all that is wrong with Trump.

I mean ya, maybe there is that big of a problem with our society for it to happen again.

I want to believe we are not that far along in not caring about how a president behaves but I totally admit it's possible that society is just that far gone.

It does sadden me, no doubt.

I'm so thankful that my daughter is too young to even realize anything about this time in our history. I will be thankful when he is gone so my daughter my be able to maybe see a president with a shred of honor, decency, and class.

Really? You think so? Let’s look back at what started this discussion:

This isn't as bad as nibbling on his wife's finger right after she called him President of the United States at a rally a week ago, but ultimately it doesn't matter. Joe is clearly losing his marbles. There's just no way he's going to make it through. He needs to retire and take it easy.

One of the most pro Trump poster on the board claims that the Democratic frontrunner isn’t mentally stable enough to be president because he had a playful moment with his wife:

and you think highlighting this Trump poster’s pettiness and hypocrisy is a form of “whataboutism?”

Really?

Again, as I told @fishonjazz, I don’t get why Trump has a following that will ignore his obscene, vulgar, and illegal behavior and call out the normal behavior of others, just because of their political affiliations.

Come on, Biden had a cute moment with his wife. What’s the big deal? There’s nothing in his actions above that warrant questions about his sanity.

Just curious, how many of you commenting about this hadn't seen this playful nibbling until I posted it?

Maybe this was posted, but if we’re talking odd and off, did you see this?

Yep. Biden saying weird things. If we had known that he would do this. If only he had a history of gaffes...

He’s not a perfect public speaker. He has overcome (mostly) a stuttering disability. Then again, I’m old to remember when we had a very articulate black President who was criticized for being too articulate, smart, and cold.

But are we basing our voting decisions today on how well someone speaks publicly? Or are we basing voting decisions today on who is not a narcissist and who will stop shredding our democratic norms, respect our allies, stand up to despots, and return some semblance of political normalcy to the White House? Answer me @infection, what’s more important to you?

I agree that a lot of the criticisms of Biden are blown out of proportion, but I'm really hoping that he is not the nominee.

Now if he is and Trump is the Republican choice, it's a no brainer. Biden all day every day. He is a competent politician. A reasonably decent person as far as I can see based on his PR managed image.

Of the 4 people with a chance (Biden, Buttigieg, Sanders, Warren) he is at the bottom of my list.

I saw it several days ago, laughed, and agree I just saw it as playful, nothing more meaningful then that. Certainly not a negative commentary on himself, it was just a funny, playful moment. No more then that. I mean, what's the Never Biden interpretation? Maybe something along these lines: "Suddenly, Biden, hearing voices in his head whispering 'bite her, bite your wife! I command you!', lunged forward and bit his wife's finger. He belongs in a straight jacket!!".

You mean, if he doesn't get outvoted by another candidate?
Yes, that’s what I meant. Which if that were to happen it would show that the media is doing a flawless job of keeping the outside thinking candidates out of the picture, as this appears to be their assignment.

Of those 4 only Sanders stands a chance really. If... he doesn’t get “Clintoned” again.

Buttegieg is the only one with a chance. There aren't enough moderates and independents who would vote for a far left candidate like Sanders or Warren and their extreme policies in a general election. Biden is not beating Trump. He would lose the debates badly. Democrats may or may not know it but they need Buttegieg to keep gaining support.

Buttegieg will depress the hell out of Dem turnout which matters a lot more than gaining so called moderates.
