2020 Presidential election

Ok, and people have been engaging with what he’s been posting since when?

I have him on ignore so I didn’t even know he was the one who started it. For all I know it could’ve been Trump suckers randy or jazzy. I saw some posters arguing and thought to comment. All I know is that even top Republicans know (or at least at one time knew) that the party wasn’t inclusive and needed to change. It seems silly in 2020 after 4 years of trump to argue about Republican inclusivity. Lol

I have told you that I did it though. How did I do it without being a Democrat? Why can't i do the exact same thing in the Republican presidential primary? Will you please answer that specific question?

Oh my goodness.

To repeat, Utah has an open primary for the Democrat presidential race. Several other states have an open primary for both parties in the presidential race. The majority of states do not have an open primary for either party in the presidential race.

I would think a party would want to be as inclusive as possible and encourage as much participation in the primary process as possible. I think the fear of independents “hijacking” the Republican primary is pretty silly. Especially in Utah.

As far as arguing inclusivity as a party’s platform, it was a few posters back. There were a few posters who seemed to arguing whether the GOP’s platform and attitude was inclusive. It certainly is not. Piebrus’s 2012 autopsy told republicans this. An autopsy Report that was obviously ignored.

So explain why the majority of states don't have an open primary for either party?

So it looks like this was started by a tweet PJF shared that also included Ted Cruz talking about inclusivity of the Republican Party. So it does look like nobody here has actually made that argument.

Well except pjf. That is why I responded to him. Then others responded to me.
I still haven't got an answer for why the Democrats let me vote for Bernie rather than Biden even though I'm not a Democrat but the Republicans wouldn't let me vote for Cruz rather than trump. Why is that?

Lol.

Was it a primary or the actual general election?
How do I find out which it was?
What I do know is that I was able to vote for Bernie instead of Biden but I wasn't allowed to vote for Ted Cruz instead of trump. Why is that? Can you answer that specific question?

Ok. So which is more inclusive in my state? Letting me vote or not letting me vote.

It would seem that that in my state of Utah the Democratic party is more inclusive when it comes to voting. Can we agree on that?

Because in Utah the Democrats have an open presidential primary, and the Republicans don't. The majority of states do not have an open primary for either party. Several have an open primary for both parties. I've repeated this a few times now. Think you got it yet?

Why is that isn't it the same in each state?

I like being able to vote if I want to. Seems weird that some states and some parties want to hinder voting.

Kudos to those states that allow people to vote for either party regardless of affiliation.
