Know that some of you will immediately use this against him, but interesting to note that last play was run for Kirilenko despite having only five shots in the game.

This is Adelman showing some trust in a veteran player. It's why AK's going to be pretty damned good this year.

Minny was supposed to be struggling without Love and Rubio.. yet they are 4-1 thanks to exceptional play by AK.

Why is it that the Jazz always suck, and when a former Jazz player goes to another team he always seems to play better? Simple question.

It's really not entirely true, though. The late 90s/early 00s Jazz teams were infamous for having ****ty players play better on their squads than they did elsewhere.

T-Wolves are 4-1, it's true, but they've had a damned easy schedule thus far. They won't play their second Western Conference team until Monday. Think there's going to be a correction.

Wish we'd see more of that AK/Budinger lineup in the future.
 
AK made a nice pass, but it wasn't spectacular. What was spectacular was Indy letting a guy cut to the basket wide open with the clock running down.
 
Was that Paul George on Budinger? Whoever it was just got caught watching the ball. No screen, no brilliant play from Adelman, just lousy defense.

EDIT: It was Gerald Green on Budinger.

Yep, Green took full responsibility for the breakdown, as he should.

It's a spectacular pass because a.) it was right on the money to a cutting player and b.) he made the pass after catching with four seconds on the clock; there aren't many players out there that would even consider that option. You're right that it wasn't a fancy play by Adelman, but again, the point is that he was putting the game in Andrei's hands at the end. It won't happen like that too often, I'm sure, but it's an early sign of how Adelman is going to run this squad.
 
11/12/7/2/1 tonight. Can't really say he played as well as the boxscore looks. Largely disappeared in the third quarter and shot too many bad jumpers. Not the reason the Wolves lost, but didn't do much to keep it from happening.

Derrick Williams shot 0-10 tonight. The sooner they move him, the better.

And Luke Ridnour is a joke as a point guard.

It is crazy to think he flirted with triple double while playing average game. Minny is just cursed with injures, now they lost Budinger, that team is getting seriously bit by injury bug. Love, Rubio, Barea, Roy, Budinger... thats like decent starting five they are missing already.

I've thought Derrick Williams was an absolute bust since mid-season last year. Perfect guy for the Jazz to waste a trade on.
 
I'm so sick of the Jazz coaching I'm about ready to stop following them after 18 years. Plus when the team was dismantled, I gradually began losing interest. I really think a lot of it has to do with the passing of Larry. Greg just doesn't have a feel for the game.
