At what point is it time to get concerned about Hayward?

I hate to be the jackass that makes this thread btw.. It's only fair though. If we're going to hold players to unreasonable standards here, which is commonplace. Then this thread/topic deserves some attention..

When the Jazz finally break thru to the playoffs, I really, really hope they dont show up with a water pistol to a gunfight, which is precisely what happened in 2012.

Don't get too excited. Defenses are focusing on Hayward and Fsvors now. So Gordon is correctly swinging the ball to Hood.

Hayward has high scoring games games as well PG_AB. your post didn't really prove anything as 1 game is not even int he ball park of a big enough sample size.

Hayward has played like **** so far this season, and it's not just his scoring. But it isn't like he hasn't gone thru slumps before. He'll rebound soon enough. I'm excited to see the Jazz play this well without the typical performance from Hayward. That's very encouraging.

Not in the Conference finals vs Lebron though... Do I need to post Haywards playoff stats from that series?? He shot like 15 % right?? I'm not even gonna do it.

Hayward is fine. I actually think he is better than last year. Give him the ball and he can create a shot against anyone, and usually makes good decisions. The ball is not falling for him right now because he seems to be pressing a bit. I think though that he could improve a bit on the release of his shot, get more fingertips into it, like Favors for instance.

Go look at who Haywards team was then compared to Georges team v. the Cavs.

Hayward showed up hard last year and my point is that Hayward v. George is a legit debate. It's not a clear answer at all.

Remember also. I'm from NY - We're notoriously hyper-critical about the athletes here, many break from the pressure.. They deem players 'not ready for the big stage' quickly here.. It's also insane.

I genuinely wonder how Hayward would do with this kind of media coverage though.. they'd probably crown him and then try to kill him at every chance...

Hayward didn't show up to play, and George put the ****ing team on his back though. We're now talking apples and oranges..

Wtf are you talking about? Hayward never played in a playoff series against Cleveland or LeBron. Yes, George, sure. You need to clarify this post. In any case, you can't compare early Hayward with current Hayward. He has improved tremendously since then.
