Why is it that you feel the need to make these crazy assumptions about your respected peers on this website. I promise you that people here are understanding that tweet with the proper amount of skepticism.

The tweet was an estimate of the future by an expert (doctor) in a prominent position. The position and the bombastic claim is what made it newsworthy, not that it's correct right now. You're the only one overreacting to it here. What's sad is that Red has explained himself already and still here you are pretending like you're the only one who understands bAsIC MaTH. HEY IDIOTS! 130,000 is actually less than 150,000,000 I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES THIS.

So according to where I'm looking China had/has about 82,000 confirmed cases and it's starting to fall. America will have 1829 TIMES more cases because @Safetydan said so.

Why you're illiterate? I'm assuming you tried to read all the posts in the last two pages yet failed to understand them. That's why I think you're illiterate

If you need me to sum up the last two pages minus your flailings it's this:

Nobody here thinks that 150,000,000 people will be infected. You think we think that which is very telling and a good example of the Dunning-Krueger effect in action.

Since Red posted the tweet, who knows what he thought about it since he posted the tweet by itself. Just because somebody posts a tweet doesn't mean they agree with it. However, he's since explained in multiple posts what he thinks about the tweet. I promise you that since Red is a smart dude and understands bAsiC MAtH that he also knew that the tweet contained an unlikely claim.
