It appears as if governor Newsom of California, is creating a coalition of unified states, a, “United States”, if you may, where these states become stronger together so that they can better deal with this pandemic. If only we lived in a country of united states and had a leader, like governor Newsom, to unite the country.

Trump's hands are tied. There is nothing he can do. States have all the power.

I believe it's obvious why Trump is promoting its usage. And I'm interested in his motive, beyond the fact that some doctors and hospitals are using it as a desperate last effort. He is promoting it as a gamble that it will make him a hero, and help his reelection. That is the only reason he is doing this, IMO. "If this works, I am the hero".

And it's no wonder Dr. Fauci was not permitted by Trump to give his opinion at Sunday's briefing. Sounds like we got a mad scientist on our hands, and it ain't Fauci. Maybe this is the Dr. Frankenstein phase of the mad king's administration. Caligula's reincarnation perhaps:

Dr. Megan L. Ranney, an emergency physician at Brown University in Rhode Island, said in an interview on Sunday night that she had never seen an elected official advertise a miracle cure the way Mr. Trump has.

“There are side effects to hydroxychloroquine,” Dr. Ranney said. “It causes psychiatric symptoms, cardiac problems and a host of other bad side effects.”

Dr. Ranney said that the drug could be effective for some patients, but that there was not nearly enough scientific evidence to support Mr. Trump’s claims.

“There may be a role for it for some people,” she said, “but to tell Americans ‘you don’t have anything to lose,’ that’s not true. People certainly have something to lose by taking it indiscriminately.”

Your country is so deeply ****ed.

Half of you furiously try to show that someone and his side of politics is full of **** and literally Hitler about everything, like literally Hitler and fascist. The other half furiously prop up what the government says and that the other side of politics are deranged blinkered hypocrites.

the degree of detail that most Anericans try to read into how the other side is completely 100 % wrong about everything and therefore awful humans is so laughable. You guys are so deeply ****ed.
