It's a tough call, because I'm not willing to have the media soft pedal the world to us either. I do think it would be awesome if the media just ignored everything Trump said and did, but that wouldn't be honest and fair reporting. But yeah, I agree that they love every controversial thing as it improves their bottom line. Capitalism and freedom.I lived out of the country for a few, but it's been a long time ago and I didn't watch the news or read the ppaper. For those of you who are familiar with both the US media and another country's media, are things reported vastly different here?
I think the media encourages these unstable people and entices them with coverage and media attention. Do any of you think this is a major factor or a non-factor?
I keep seeing the blame directed at Trump, white supremacists/race, political parties, religion, video games, etc but don't really see any of the blame directed at the media and journalism. I, personally, think the media loves profiting off of these events because they get clicks and views. #nightcrawler
Lol - I'll let you guys get back to your echo chamber. Clearly you're not used to having your own definitions of hate and racism applied to what you say. It's ok, I know you feel justified and that you're right and everyone else is ignorant. Everyone else is Cleutus..
"President Donald Trump quietly signed a bill into law Tuesday rolling back an Obama-era regulation that made it harder for people with mental illnesses to purchase a gun."

The part I don’t like is that he “quietly” signed the bill. A debate should have been had about what categorizes as a mental illness. I don’t trust the guy.
