Following potential 2013 draftees

Agree, GVC, about needs.

I have only watched Green a couple times so I don't have anything of value to add.

Only nitpick I've got is the word 'bust'.. I am so unimpressed with this draft that I wouldn't necessarily call anyone a bust in ghe usual sense of the word.. but rather we hope to do some solid evaluations, pick who we think might help the team.. and rely a bit more heavily on luck than usual.

By bust I mean non-rotation player. CJ might not stick in the NBA, but that sorta seems to be the case with everyone projected outside the lottery this year.

EGreen > Wolters

GVC saying what I've been saying: we need scoring and dynamism in the back court in the worst way. Adding guys like McCollum and Green (for example) would give us 4 guards who can score and run PnR all day. I've never hyped Green, but he fits my basic vision.

I think it was xthren who suggested we trade two second round picks to a maxed out team for their late first (which has guaranteed salary). I like this move if it gets us a guy like Green or Wolters.

Even with McCollum and Green, the Jazz would still lack a perimeter player who can consistently score at the rim (Hayward, McCollum, Green...shooters), unless Burks makes huge strides next season.

Need to find players who can suck defenses in a little bit to create better shots for teammates. There doesn't seem to be any of that available in this year's draft.

But I'll be shocked if they don't bring Mo back....
Yuck.

This team needs intelligent leadership in the worst way. Ty-Al-Mo...

Probably the biggest reason I want Paul back. He and Hayward should be leading this team. They understand what's going on on the court, and make the right basketball play fairly consistently (even with their limitations).

Totally agree.... My hopes remain pinned to Burks. Hopefully he gets a 10X longer leash next year

I know you'll call me a hater (KNOW it), but they both had a bad college experience and a coach that didn't help them exploit a natural position. WTF was Drew doing with Austin this year?????? Perry Jones?? Holy **** I swear any of us here would see PJIII was a PF.. not a SF.. not a center... it wastes the dev't and confidence of these young men.

They're all interested in a gimmick.
My bro also said that Austin's dad told him he could've gon to KU, but instead went to Baylor. My bro said Austin's dad was very upset at his sons choice for this very reason.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out why players continue to play for Scott Drew.

Guess the money talks.
Bro also said that Baylor offered money to Austin. PKM, did KU really want Austin?
I would rather see the Jazz take McCollum over Austin if both are available with the first pick the Jazz have.
I highly doubt both will be available when the jazz pick.

I don't recall specifically, but am sure Kansas would have taken Austin with open arms.. he was a top 5 ranked kid.
