Lol. Year in and year out you are a delusional homer for BYU and constantly over rate them. Both teams are flawed. BYU's QB is an inaccurate passer who has to to tuck it and run after his first read because your online is garbage. Mark it down: your team won't SNIFF the top 15 this year. Neither will mine, but at least I'm a realist.

Whatever football knowledge you may possess flys out the window when you talk about BYU. It must suck to be you. Normally when BYU fails you, you pimp USC because they're your "other" team but they suck this year too. But hey, at least you're delusional enough not to see it.

Bronco will find a way to screw up this game. He gets his players overhyped and they will come out against Utah making a few mistakes because of it (personal fouls, etc). In all reality, these teams are evenly matched but Whittingham prepping his team like its just another game will be the difference. Van Noy said it himself: This is BYU's "Superbowl". BYU puts a ton of pressure on themselves each year for this game and it has cost them before.

That's not even trash talk, that's a fact any non-homer byu fan would acknowledge and be worried about for this week.

I don't think having 2 weeks to prepare for the game helps them either.
 
Things BYU has going for them: Riding high after a big win, better receivers, better RB, better LB's, rest.

Things Utah has going for them: Better QB, Home Field Advantage.

With Utah's youth on offense and secondary, I'm glad they played a 3rd game before facing BYU. Byes can give a team an advantage in certain scenarios but Utah will not be able to use that as an excuse. I'm guessing any honest BYU fan would have rather seen Taysom and that Oline get 1 more game under their belts last week.

A bye after the 2nd week of the season for a young QB and patchwork OL just doesn't seem to be that big of an advantage IMO.

This is a good point.

I wish byu would have had a weber state type game rather than a bye

Why would you need more experience before playing BYU? Don't the Utes see Van Noy type players every week now that they're in the Pac12?
