Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

The Jazz will keep their pick
Only if they’re bottom-4 can we assure that. Which is what the primary objective of this season should have been about from the tip.

I know you know the first part, I just really don’t want there to be any confusion that the unlikely can happen and we saw that happen in the lottery last year. Under extremely suspicious circumstances.

Are any of the other players worth keeping?
landale, absolutely, but he's on an expiring deal. maybe they try to sign him as a ufa this summer - who knows. williams has been a rotation guy for memphis the last three years - he has talent, but his shooting this year has been horrendous. i like konchar, but he hasn't been able to get off the bench for a horrendous memphis team - might be out of the league after this season.

For everybody shooting down JJ Jr. and his performance lately, how was LM before the Jazz got him?

Is that a serious question?

He was one of the most valuable players for the 21-22 Cavs who finished the season with the second highest net rating on the team and Bickerstaff loved him. There were a lot of scorers on that team so Lauri's counting stats didn't pop, hut make no mistake, the only reason they traded him was because they saw an opportunity to get a new franchise player.

JJJ, though, is a guy who's worn out his welcome in Memphis. Can't lead a team. Strictly a soft role player who disappears.

I'll survive at 5 with the odds of 0.7% at drafting 9th
